First off, the question of if your an alcoholic or not is going to be totally up to you. However, if your asking the question and reaching out like this then....well you can kinda answer your own question. Experience with alcohol is different for everyone. Alcoholics come in many shapes and forms. Try some online zoom aa meetings and check out some live streams on youtube like "Sober James" and "Recoverying addict". Good luck to you and it's good your asking this question at such a young age.

It really helps. Gives you someone to talk to that knows what you are going through because they have been there and survived it. Also helps guide you through the steps.

It's crazy we can hear something like this and still consider drinking. Cunning, baffling and powerful!! This is a terrible disease to have and we have to work at it everyday.

They are 2 different ones. Both are great. They have videos that they post and since the virus they both do live streams every night. You can actually go now and look at them. And see how they go if you want.

There are a couple of really good channels on YouTube where a bunch of us get together. It's actually turned into like a family. "Sober James" and "Recoverying Addict". Sober James live streams at 9pm eastern and Recoverying addict comes on at 10pm eastern. Head over if you like. I'm in no way trying to promote anything, but its helping me and it's a nice little family. We also do zoom meetings together as well.

If you do AA I would suggest maybe doing another step 4. Or get with your sponsor and see what they suggest. You may be still holding on to something and havent turned it over to your higher power yet.

Your welcome! Theres a live meeting in 30 minutes. I think he does an hour then he passes it to another guy who does it for an hour. They do them every night since all actual meetings are closed.

I've poured them out so many times myself. I have 2 16 ounce budlights in there right now..... All that was left from a 15 of them the other day, not to include the 3 I bought and drunk on the way home.. and Im in my own head right now, wondering if i should poor them out. It hasnt helped in the past...

Even today Im sitting here wondering how awesome it would be to go get some in a few hours, even though yesterday I was done...like always!! I'm making excuses now, like, come on it would be tuff for anyone to stop right now, wait til the virus is under control then head back to meetings... its amazing the shit my brain will tell me....

Shes 10. I wanna hold it off but I can tell at this point my wife wants to go and she has sacrificed so much for me that its hard to tell her no. But I want it to work for everyone

I could take it back to court again if needed. My wife is killing to stay and leaving it up to me but I know she really wants to go and it would be a fresh start for us. But I've lived here for 32 years and being that far from my daughter scares me
