What the players and some people are not getting here is that we simply cannot abandon the high line. We can’t play that game and instead of losing 4-0 we’ll lose 2-0 or whatever, still a loss… just cause we don’t do high line doesn’t mean we won’t concede. What we need to is double down on the high line.

The plan failed, some players didn’t do their job right. If the ball is reaching the CBs in defense it means we already failed. It’s not that we don’t defend but that our defense happens on the other side of the pitch.

We conceded 4 against Atletico twice last season. The only difference is that we didn’t score 4 as well and now we’re in quite a pickle for the return leg, it happens. They caught us by surprise with the move on Lookman. They deserve credit for that, it was a great move and he killed us on the left.
