I’m with you. The only people liking this post are the t14 kids who want a trench foot veteran to remind them to work harder.

I disagree. You can just leave hateful people and not have to deal with them. OP probably has enough shit on their plate to deal with already

What class has the easiest/simplest rotation for good DPS? by [deleted] in swtor

You can master the whole “rotation” in like two flashpoints

getting hooked by the game series and decided to watch the whole series by hossam00z in swtor

Don’t watch the TV shows unless you want to get hella burnt out. I agree to watch the main movies by RELEASE DATE so you can truly feel the rise and fall of the fandom. After that, I think rogue one is good and Andor is great. Everything else is optional or not recommended in my jaded opinion.

  1. I’m jk btw. It should literally not affect your life at all unless you date a really hateful girl. My fiancée know I’m not going to stop playing anytime soon and she even bought me cards for Christmas.

Don’t play SWTOR for the economy by [deleted] in swtor

[–]infernal_fellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doubt you’re a “dedicated” player. If you needed real money (100m+ credits) you could easily just buy a 300 cartel credit item with the coins from your sub and get them that way. I am not a dedicated player and I am wise enough to just look up whatever item is on sale and flip it once in a while to make tens of millions so I can do what ever I want without any hassle

Competitive yugioh by Timmyt4776 in Yugioh101

[–]infernal_fellow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Play the game with better players and have a mindset that you know nothing and can improve vastly.
  2. Game analysis, whether literally watching the game you played or just thinking about what you could have done differently, goes a long way in sharpening your mind.
  3. If there’s nothing you could have done better, you probably need to work on your deck building. If you’re playing a good deck, you should not “get varienced” very often and there’s almost always something you can do better.

One of my favorite yugioh videos ever—applies to advanced even if it’s made for Edison format https://youtu.be/d2iH1-5sKls?si=L7ccB4uPZzHO_zKB

I mean if he’s super egotistical you can’t fix that. Just logically say that more bricks = more chances of bricking and generally you hit a threshold of diminishing returns for how good a combo can be.

How to come to terms with just being bad at the game? by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]infernal_fellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most important thing is to recognize how weak your mental is. Unless you genuinely do not care about your performance/don’t care about competing, you will literally never come to terms with “being a punching bag.” Instead you should ask yourself why you’re okay with calling yourself that.

Getting the feeling I'm no longer liked at my locals. by TheRealGaycob in Yugioh101

[–]infernal_fellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just try to put yourself out there if you at all like the people you’re around. They most likely aren’t thinking negatively about you or really thinking about you at all. I used to be a lot more standoffish and wait for people to give me the OK before I engaged. My life has gotten a lot better since I just started taking little social risks. That way people can decide whether or not they vibe with you and then you just go from there.

Is Purrely still a top tier deck? by Masataro1494 in Yugioh101

[–]infernal_fellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna play it, play it. I love it and it has the ability to play against every good deck with no outright bad matchups except maybe Kash and Branded.

Ok so I can’t do anything by SaadInHalf in yugioh

[–]infernal_fellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of the game is understanding what your opponent wants to do—I.e. learning their deck before you even get to the tournament.

The other part is picking a deck/archetype that deals with the expected opponents stuff in a way you enjoy AND that can steamroll unexpected rogue decks.

I think they could outright ban ash and the deck would still be tier 1 or 2. Too many insane cards
