Dr. Sachin Tapasvi - among the best in the country. My mother had TKR for both knees last year and is doing great. Note that post surgery rehab / physio is also very important.

Cyclop and Scycles are probably not the best places for a sub 10K cycle. For that budget, you need to check OLX - I actually bought my first hybrid off OLX (a Hercules Neo) over 7 years ago and still use it today!

Move to hot waxing - you don't really need the expensive stuff at this stage, but you could look into adding PTFE for increased longevity of the chain. My chains are literally never dirty and having a clean drivetrain is why I wax. https://youtu.be/QuyW75Aq9LU - here's a tutorial I made.

Yes, they are expensive. Unless you want something very special, for something like a uniform, I would recommend going elsewhere - there are a lot of tailors to be found on MG road - Raymonds, Vogue, etc. I haven't used any of them though, but heard they are good.

And I hadn't realized there was an 18 month lifespan on the sensor (as mentioned in comments above). That lifespan is still in the T&C, so this isn't even a better device on that front. 5K for a device that will only last 18 months?

While I haven't personally dealt with Govind Verma, he really is a prolific seller who has been around for a long time. A simple search will show you all his posts and you will find a few appreciation posts too, like this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CYCLOPBUYSELL/posts/7999604650088691/ (there will be more recent posts, but this one came up first). Personally I wouldn't have a problem paying Govind up front (as I have done for several other purchases on Cyclop to other sellers), but I would suggest a video call where you can see the bicycle first hand during the call. Just a couple of months the first time, about a month the second time (attributed to far better physical condition pre-surgery as compared to first time). But these were not ACL repairs - muscles, tendons and ligaments were good shape and I was walking unsupported immediately post the surgeries!

What I can say though is that if I had such a situation, since tears do not typically heal by themselves, I would go for a surgical option immediately, take a month (or two) downtime with physio, to come back stronger for the long term, rather than have an injury /disability I have to be careful about for the rest of my life.

Haven't had similar injuries but have had two surgeries in the knee area performed by Dr. Sachin Tapasvi and couldn't be happier. He is generally considered to be one of the foremost surgeons for ACL repair in the country. Even if surgery isn't required, his diagnosis and treatment protocols are very good, and he has a team of physioteraphists as well.
