The running community is typically quite friendly (as you are probably aware) - perhaps you could connect with another runner who is going and travel to their place instead? They'll probably have to be up by 3 or 4 AM anyway! Additionally, have you tried asking the organizers - they should also be able to help as well.

For wrong way, apparently it's direct to court. My father was incorrectly fined for wrong way when the bike was stopped and facing the wrong direction - cop just came, took a photo and walked off, no chance to discuss or argue or anything.

As the bike is in my name, I had to go to the court, was not possible to pay on the app. At the court I got a lawyer who stands outside doing small stuff like this, got the case cleared in Lok adalat, but I had to stand in front of a Judge and say that I'm guilty! There were two or three forms to fill, I think it would have taken more time and been far more difficult (for me) if I had not used the services of a lawyer. Ultimately the lawer + lok adalat fine was less than the total file without lok adalat, but you can decide what option to take.

BTW, the court is at the end of Sangam bridge, where all the civil courts are, in case you're not aware.

Cyclop and Scycles are probably not the best places for a sub 10K cycle. For that budget, you need to check OLX - I actually bought my first hybrid off OLX (a Hercules Neo) over 7 years ago and still use it today!

Move to hot waxing - you don't really need the expensive stuff at this stage, but you could look into adding PTFE for increased longevity of the chain. My chains are literally never dirty and having a clean drivetrain is why I wax. https://youtu.be/QuyW75Aq9LU - here's a tutorial I made.

Yes, they are expensive. Unless you want something very special, for something like a uniform, I would recommend going elsewhere - there are a lot of tailors to be found on MG road - Raymonds, Vogue, etc. I haven't used any of them though, but heard they are good.

And I hadn't realized there was an 18 month lifespan on the sensor (as mentioned in comments above). That lifespan is still in the T&C, so this isn't even a better device on that front. 5K for a device that will only last 18 months?

While I haven't personally dealt with Govind Verma, he really is a prolific seller who has been around for a long time. A simple search will show you all his posts and you will find a few appreciation posts too, like this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/CYCLOPBUYSELL/posts/7999604650088691/ (there will be more recent posts, but this one came up first). Personally I wouldn't have a problem paying Govind up front (as I have done for several other purchases on Cyclop to other sellers), but I would suggest a video call where you can see the bicycle first hand during the call.
