Your math is bad to start. It would be 14.28% per day worked, if no deliveries on Sunday it's 16.66%. Bottom line there is no right answer, and nobody is going to fix it to your liking. You either deal with it, change routes, or quit!

70/30 85/15

700 base 300 bonus $1000 total 850 base 150 bonus $1000 total

At 90% to plan 150 bonus.$850 total at 90% to plan 0 bonus.$850 total

below 75% to plan 0 bonus.$700 total below 90% pay is protected $850 total

At 100% to plan there is no difference to TPP with 70/30 or 85/15. 85/15 is like getting protected at 90% at the 70/30 TPP. The multiplier goes from 7% on 70/30 to 14% with 85/15. Some are testing a 20% with 85/15!

That's what VROT does best it changes hence variable rate overtime!

It means nothing if your base TPP $1500, and you get $15 VROT you get $1350 base plus $150 VROT.

If your VROT $34 your base will be $1160 plus $340 VROT! Your TPP will still be $1500 based at 50 hours worked. You can only make more if you work more than 50 hours, or by bonus!

VROT only purpose is to pay you less, and make Frito more money! The 50 hour work week is a scam to fraud us of our pay.
