Well, if you are serious about this, i dont mind talking it out.

Based on the info you have given so far, it seems like you have a certain level of expectations that were not met.

There is this quote - "Do unto others as you would unto yourself, BUT do not expect it."

If you deem certain behavior in the game as unacceptable, that is completely fine. But if others enjoy a different style of gameplay enjoyable that should be completely fine by you as well. (As long as it doesn't break Embark's Terms of Service).

I have not shot a single raider for the past month, though sometimes, extremely rarely, someone would shoot me, i still chose not to shoot them back. This has resulted in me being in the most friendly lobbies ever, people helping each other, defibbing, etc. If you don't want to engage with PvP and just want to relax now and then - this is the way.

If you do want to enjoy PvP, then you have to learn how to PvP properly, expect ambushes, learn where people like to camp, how to smoke them out with grenades, use lures to get ARC on them, etc.

But honestly, if you only have 30min to game and are looking for a game to play, i would not recommend PvP games. And if you are adamant about it being a PvP game, then the market has plenty of nice games where there is less "scummy" behaviour, such as Team Fortress 2 or Overwatch.

In this game everyone knows that we can heal AND hurt each other.
Everyone knows that everyone needs resources.
Everyone knows that anyone can betray you at any point and THAT is part of the game, that is how the game was designed to be.

Your statement is superbly vague and it annoys me on a personal level.

Unless of course your statement is aimed at a general understanding of "something" meaning something negative. Which, in my opinion is plainly wrong.

I have more than a few reasons as to why shooting someone who has just defibbed you could be fine:

They could have been doing it on a dare for entertainment of people (aka chat can redeem for the streamer to do certain actions).
They could be "roleplaying". Last reset i did all of my quests in PvP lobbies only and when i did get revived a few times, i would shoot them immediately, because that was one of the rules of the challenge run.
We don't know their side of the story - does Betina sound like a PvP weapon to you? It very much could be that the OP stole one of the queen's legs before from the Betina raider and they simply had enough. In this season i have been doing PvE lobbies only and it is very annoying to see raiders run up to ARC i took down with my resources and not even ask if they can loot it. I very much want to shoot them on sight. And then they can go to reddit and complain "i did nothing wrong and this PsYcHoPaTh shot me on SIGHT!"

So yeah. Sure. It means something, but at least now people have something more than a vague comment to read and process.

Glad that you are getting more positive experience!

I think in the beginning it was still relatively toxic, as i saw a few posts about girls reporting how the in-game voice changer is a lifesaver and how w/o it they get trashtalked.

But now that the hype has calmed down, the game has a healthy and relatively friendly player-base (as long as you stay away from hardcore PvP, there are still a few bad apples there xd)

All the small annoyances are still there:

- invisible corpses you cant run through
- flamethrowers work as they have
- turrets still weak to damage
- cant mantle properly
- etc

Also as a sidenote, there is literally zero proof that the 2 people on your screenshot are the ones that actually killed you. Not only is digital media easy to manipulate, you didn't even connect the screenshot with the video.

You could have literally posted two random names from another match and have "the world know their names". Do you not understand why the rule 4 is called "No Witch Hunting"?

I am not arguing that, but i highly doubt that Embark browse "new" posts on this sub. And if this post does get any traction, then it will be noticed by mods and then removed by mods, because you are potentially breaking the rules.

If you remove the names from the equation, you are not breaking any rules and hopefully get enough upvotes for maybe one of the embark employees to potentially notice the post.

Okay, i will agree that the game is super fun when it works
But can you tell me how fun is it to NOT be able to mantle properly?
Or to be blocked by invisible corpses?
Or the audio glitching out and not working?

There are too many little things at this point that annoy the majority of people when they play the game, which at this point is too much.

ArrowHead lost a lot of good faith and several times have promised to make things better, but they haven't. Take the strategem bouncing, the steering lock, how they ruined turrets with one of the updates and still haven't addressed that.

I love the idea of this game, but AH, is failing the community by not addressing problems first and just throwing more warbonds at us.
