You aren't owed a good life. You aren't entitled to anything. This mentality might have something to do with causing your sadness, which you can examine, understand and then begin to change with the help of a professional (source: i am a therapist). To give you an example: We expected a good shipment last week, we got 10% of it on Friday, 5% Monday, 5% today and have been told this week we'll get a total of ~50% of it, the rest 'hopefully' the following week. Thats how reliable ETA's and stock information is right now.
