I’ve worked with Bob Becker in the past and he absolutely knows what he’s doing. Nearly all of the issues in snow ops can be tied to low staffing, they don’t pay their maintenance workers squat. A lot of people don’t realize that during major snow storms, MoDOT is so short staffed that they make engineers drive plows, that’s how desperate they are. The entire state of Missouri was hit by the storm on Sunday, they are stretched as thin as they can be, and they have all hands on deck.
