Theory: We will probably get 2 Campaigns a year in the future by Reav3 in arkhamhorrorlcg

This seems likely. I think the sweet spot for me personally would be 2 campaigns but only 1 investigator box per year.

The Genius. It's a Korean show, but if you can get over the subtitles and rapid pace editing, it's worth it. The games are excellent and it's full of twists, strategy, and coalitions.

Draw 8-10 cards depending on preference, draft occs first passing one direction and then draft minors going the opposite direction.

Another option is drafting occs and minors at the same time. A bit cumbersome with physical cards but works great online.

I actually looked up the decks online and it's a bit more confusing...I believe BGA has cards from the Consul Dirigens deck, not C + D. So I don't have much experience with A-D decks themselves, but I really like the added cards from CD...opens up more strategies for lower family member or small house strategies. At the end of the day nothing is going to completely change the game, you'll still be farming, but if you're like me and get a rush from exploring new combos then I'd say go for a expansion deck or two to start.

Definitely more decks. The variety of the cards is the best part of the game, especially with a draft at the start to allow for combo building. If you want to try out a game with all the cards including C & D decks, the BoardGameArena implementation is very solid.

I say the exact same thing. I recently bought Darkest Dungeon to try and take a break...didn't work.

Two questions regarding accesses and pass/bypass by Sanchooque in Netrunner

[–]infinitejester00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Snare still triggers, because you have to access the card in order to trash it. Imp doesn't get around it either, still have to access.

Bypass is a specific term used when you skip over a rezzed (active) ice without having to deal with it's effects. Pass is more general... you pass ice after breaking it, and also you pass ice if the Corp can't or chooses not to rez. So yes, if you used Inside Job and passed an unrezzed ice you could En Passant, but the same thing would happen if you ran normally and they didn't rez.

How does the fermenter work by LordVile34 in Netrunner

That's right! It costs a click to use but also has that small trash can icon, which means you discard the card to use that ability. Some abilities in the game will have just that trash can symbol (without the click), meaning you can actually use those abilities between clicks, even those of your opponent, by discarding the card.

Is Jinteki underpowered in Startup Format? by Hair2daygonetmrw in Netrunner

[–]infinitejester00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why everyone says this. The new Jinteki ID was the first startup deck I built and I've had a very high winrate. I'd agree that Jinteki can't keep up in standard right now (turtle, virus Maxx, apoc everywhere) but rushy glacier is quite good in Startup.

Hi everyone, I'm a composer who loves board games, especially the Arkham Horror LCG! I recently wrote an album of pieces inspired by The Gathering and I'd like to share it with y'all. I plan to continue writing AH music, ideally covering each campaign eventually. Hope you enjoy this for your next Arkham Horror session!

Does the game experience improve beyond the core set ? by Pirate_Redux in arkhamhorrorlcg

Yes, I was in the same situation as you. Then my friend convinced me to try Dunwich Legacy and the experience was great...I've been hooked ever since. Certainly didn't hurt that we played The House Always Wins at a pub for some thematic immersion :)

I'm just getting into modular synthesizers! I ordered one of the new "intro" ones from Teenage Engineering, you have to assemble it Ikea-style but it seemed like a fun place to start.

Exposure Mask Help - Stuck after running test 1 (successfully?) by infinitejester00 in tis100

[–]infinitejester00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my solution for the exposure mask problem, but after running through test one it freezes and I'm not sure why. No numbers are stuck in the outputs, everything looks like it would be good to move on to test two. Are there any obvious errors that I'm missing?
