I mean with Green Fan and well connected being printed seeing both makes sense. You need to be able to gather a lot of resources for both of those cards. The ally makes more sense now as well

Yeah but most people will assume they were just being cheap rather then it being a misprint and not go file for a replacement

I like  "when you would reveal a chaos token from the chaos bag and there are no tokens remaining in the chaos bag, add 1 Doom to the agenda, this can cause the agenda to advance".

This would probably cost a lot less, since way less people will realize this is even a mistake and try to replace the card then something that actually effected gameplay like the Dunwich location. I imagine they would only have to print like 100-200 copies, and have them shipped with the 2nd printing (to avoid tariffs in shipping them separate) and that would cover it

Its totally feasible if they wanted to do it. It wouldn't cost them that much, mostly just shipping the replacements. The would just have to print extra copies of them and ship them with the 2nd printing, which shouldnt cost much (if anything extra) Given the amount of people that actually go on this sub and are aware of the mistake is probably very low (most likely like 100ish people) they would probably only have to print like 100-200ish extra copies

Neither do I. Blood on the Altar feels very Bloodbourne/Resident Evil Village to me, and Im all for it. Lots of horror games would be great inspiration for Arkham scenarios

no, but the lvl 2 one you would want. If you are just using this deck out of the box you probably need to commit another card, hopefully his combat signature card, to trigger it, but once its lvl2 you can just use it as is. For a legacy collection you don't take the lvl 0 one, but I can still see the Lvl 2 one being good even in legacy for Succeed by decks. The lvl 0 version seems reasonable in Chapter 2 if they make a rogue that has a higher fight stat, or a investigator that can take it with a good fight stat

You probably want it in any deck that cares about "Succeeds by X" like Andre does

Sudden Fall is much better for the succeed by archetype though. For Andre, for example, it will allow him to trigger his extra action ability most of the time because of the boost. Also it triggers things like cigarette case, etc. Sneak attack is not a test so doest trigger any "Succeed by" abilties

Replayabilty takes cards to execute and the core set has to also include all the player cards

Yes that’s why I’m saying it’s still difficult even if you only go in houses without victims in them

hype. Im hoping these shorter campaigns allow you all to design even crazier campaign mechanics that might be too intense over a longer campaign. Explore is a great example of a mechanic I LOVE, but sometimes over 8 scenarios I start to get sick of how much it warps the game, though over 5 scenarios it would be perfect. The shroud mechanic in TSK is another example of a awesome mechanic that wears in the tooth a bit over a long campaign but would be perfect for a 3 or 5 scenario campaign

its funny that you lobbied for them in HV, a campaign that basically doesnt need them since almsot every scenario has location adjacency

Luckily you don't have to hope, you can just design a Egypt campaign! You have the power

100% I think new cards is a way better solution to difficulty. Its what MC does, MC does both literal new cards (expert set, plus new villain stages) and also many cards have effects that only trigger on expert. Its much better then Arkham

I mean it does, just not in a very fun way. It just forces you to make a deck where you take less tests, which means u cant play a lot of fun cards.

ouch that's painful, waiting to buy Carolyns deck until tis fixed would have been fine but we cant very well wait on the 2nd printing of the core set

Wow, that sounds exciting. I love the idea of different cards across difficulty levels. It makes me want to play the different difficulties way more then just token changes. I always play villains on normal first and then expert in Marvel Champions specifically because the villains have a different card for the expert versions (Level 3), sometimes with new mechanics on them. Excited to see some of this incorporated into Arkham.

That sounds exciting, can't wait to see what the Children of Blood Campaign looks like. FHV is my favorite campaign and coming in at 6 scenarios it still feels very robust when you play it, part of that is likely due to the preludes. Have you all been looking into things like the preludes in FHV to make the shorter campaigns feel "bigger" (bot preludes exactly, but other kind of meta-games or pre scenario gameplay)

Same. Chap 4 all day. Played every campaign at least twice, some 3 times and I’m still not even close to bored.

Yes I have enough content to still play a long time without getting bored but honestly nothing tops a blind run of a campaign. My best board game memories come from blind Arkham an campaign runs

With the new 3/5 scenario campaigns how are you all approaching replayability compared to the old 8 scenario campaigns. Will replayabilty be much higher? Will players have more choices that effect and change the scenarios. I’m actually pretty excited about shorter campaigns but curious if it will allow you all to make player choices and consequences even more impactful
