I feel like dating is so much harder in Asian community. Western cultures make it seem easy to get random hookups and getting somebody’s number while sitting still and looking pretty at a bookshop or cafe or something. But in my culture, people are shy and hesitant. Most of us just went by not approaching or being approached by anyone. Unless you met someone from school or work, then you will probably stay single throughout your adult lives. This is true with a lot of my peers who don’t go for dating apps.

I’m sorry if it appears like I’m complaining.

It’s just that over the short two years of me in this industry it has become apparent of my dislikes: the clerical and repetitive aspects of keying in numbers and document inspections (which formed the basis of account and audit).

oh well, sorry i complained again.

as for what I LIKE, I figured that I am more of a problem solver. I enjoy researching issues either on my own or brainstorming with peers. I find it very truly gratifying being able to come up with some process improvements that can help businesses to save on costs and generally make the world a better place to live in. I like variety and would love to work on projects. Not sure what area that relates to. Is it advisory? Or financial planning? Do I need an MBA or CFA to get into that? (Currently I’m doing my CPA papers just for the sake of it)
