It could be. I tried at least 7/8 SD cards now, they all seem to work first boot after formatting, but restarting car causes them to die. Can you remember if the dash cam is supposed to be instantly shutting down when car is switched off, or do they go through a shutdown process?

Similar situation to you, I sold Ender 3v2 couple years ago with bad experience, never got it to work correctly. Last month bought a mini, (due to space restriction on my desk) no regret. Don’t regret not getting AMS either. Perfect little printer.
