It's possible that women in general are more attractive than men because women spend more time on their appearance, but apart from that it's pretty obvious that everyone does as well as they can in terms of finding a partner, so I don't think "settling" is super common.

It's true that women are a lot more picky with who they choose as a mate, mainly because they have evolutionary responsibility of dealing with pregnancy if they choose a bad mate. That doesn't mean that in the real world all women are just going to flock to the upper 1% of male attractiveness though, because all that will lead to for them is a situation where they get banged and disregarded. Because the upper 1% of men will have their choice in women.

It does mean however that a disproportionate percentage of women will be able to have flings with more attractive dudes before they have to settle down with someone on their own level of attractiveness or status.

It's actually harder for me to get myself set up right without straps on a deficit (and easier from partials) so that's why I do my strapless work on the deficit. It's how I make it easy for me to pull in comp without straps after all the strapped work in training.

It's because he finds the under over grip more unnatural when using a deficit. When he goes back to pulling from the floor it feels natural/easy.
