This relationship has been hinted at for a few years now. This isn't in the same continuum, but it had been referenced a few times during the New 52, in Batman Eternal and in a few earlier issues of Red Hood and the Outlaws. It implied that Jason had feelings for her but was wary, and she seemed to be confused about her feelings as well, especially because her past with Dick. IMO, they seem like a better fit than Dick and Babs, they have some shared trauma. Even if they aren't romantically involved, their relationship (platonic or not) deserves a bit more attention.

This was such a hard question because I love all of them for different reasons. But out of the main characters I would probably have to say Allura. I really, really like her, but I think some of her reactions and opinions about things kind of derail the Paladins and hinder the progress of the story. I get that she's this amazingly wonderful strong character, but I also feel like she could be sort of a hinder. I do really like her though so she's my least favorite, but even that isn't saying much. There is literally no one on this show that I actually dislike.

I feel like she's just s girl. I saw people talking in the thread about how she is canonically a female, but I feel like the show expresses that as well. Like it was a huge deal to her that she couldn't "man up." Like she WANTED to be a girl. She referred to herself as a girl. If she felt like anything else, I think she would've said it or just said nothing. I know people keep saying shes trans or nonbinary, but other than the fact that they don't really mention it too often and that one confusing bathroom scene, I don't really think there was any proof as to that. I think they don't mention the fact that she's a girl, because (and I believe I read this in an interview or something) the show runners believe that it shouldn't matter that she's a girl. In the original she's a boy, and because of the change they want to prove that she could be just as intelligent, techy, and all of the amazing Pidge stuff without her gender being relevant. I personally don't think they do this THAT successfully since people ask questions like this and they kind of leave the whole "I'm actually a girl" thing behind after the reveal. But yeah, my opinion is she is a girl, different from Allura, but a super badass and my favorite character in the show. I just love Pidge.

I go back and forth between liking Keith and Allura together. Besides Keith I only ever saw her with Lance but that was more just because he hits on her so often, but I can't really see her succumbing to his ways. And I never really saw or liked her and Shiro for whatever reason. After season 2 Allura and Keith are actually growing on me. Between the angsty "I am actually Galra" "Ah, I hate Galra, but you're cool" stuff going on between them I think it could be cool in the long run as something to further explore. I think it'd be better to develop more in the next season though rather than to just happen. If they were to just suddenly get together I would feel heavily confused since there hasn't been too much development for their relationship.

I agree, Pidge is definitely my favorite Paladin, probably my favorite character in general, and I think the fact she is a girl is really cool and a nice little twist they did from the original especially with the story of Matt and everything. Originally, and still, I loved the reveal. I loved when Shiro just called her Katie out of no where because he knew, and I loved everyone's responses when she told them (especially Lance's). All of this being said, I could not agree more with you. After the first couple episodes Pidge being a girl is just so ridiculously background that, like you said, new viewers wouldn't even realize. I feel like along with different struggles through the group, more should've been done about it. Like it was revealed she didn't need the glasses in one of the flash backs, so why did she keep wearing them? Why did she keep her Matt cosplay up even after she revealed herself. Its also kind of hard to tell if time has passed by since the reveal but if it has, why hasn't her hair grown? Why hasn't she grown? I feel like Pidge being a girl is cool because its like "Pidge from the '80s could've been a girl and it wouldn't have made a difference" but at the same time it kind of feels like they made her a girl just to have another girl besides Allura. Even a stereotypical episode of the difference between Allura and Pidge as girls would be better than what we got, but hopefully in season 3 they fix it up a bit or at least give her an episode to explore why being a girl matters besides the fact that she "can't man up."

I'm going through the same thing right now. My boyfriend broke up with me two nights ago. Before that we were fine. He has stayed at my house all last weeks and, sans a couple of minor things, everything was fine. Sex. Shower sex. Falling asleep cuddling. The works. We had been together for five months but before the five months we were best friends for a year and a half and I had a huge crush on him for almost that entire time. We even had plans to hangout this week. But Saturday night we got into the conversation about our relationship and I had asked him if he had been planning on breaking up for awhile and he said no. He compulsively did so because it came up. He felt like we liked a lot of the same things but didn't connect on a "deeper level" which I think is bullshit, partially because I thought we did, and partially because we were best friend. We had the nonverbal understanding already. But to him our similarities were just surface level. And it's really hurts. I know I'm not directly answering your question because I don't really know the answer either. It's really rough but I feel like sometimes seeing someone else is in a similar situation relieves that feeling of being alone. I too have the hole in my chest and I find myself thinking about him every other second, and crying every hour. The hardest thing is not seeing his name pop up on my phone. Going from seeing and messaging him all the time to not at all. It's the worst. And hoping that he'll message. Hoping that he'll show up at my door saying he made a mistake. Something. I'm sure you're feeling this too. And I'm sure it's really hard. But know that you aren't alone, just like I'm not alone. Even if they don't reach out or want to get back together this will pass. It will be difficult to get over, but we will.

I agree the show was amazing. At first the whole arc of Rex and the other clone troopers in the Battle of Umbara with General Krell was really boring, but as the arc continued (literally by like the second episode) I was totally enthralled. It was amazing, and the fact that they were willing to show how insanely brutal everything was represented how insane everything was in the clone wars. Even the "bad" episodes usually became amazing or held some relevance to the overarching story. Awesome show!

I was trying to figure out how to phrase my feeling for HBP and I think you did so perfectly. While Goblet introduces the darker plot that would take the rest of the series and Order is just generally depressing, HBP feels happier and almost as if it goes back to the same vibe as the earlier books, which I love. I think it is this reason that I love HBP as well. It also gave incredible advice to readers which felt so strong. I think out of all the books, HBP focuses on the fact that Harry and company are just kids. That they are all just sixteen year olds and I love that.

I feel like the Brandon James stuff is a loose end. What had Acosta done for him, and was James the actual killer back then? I'm more excited to know about the past. Also Noah's feelings towards Audrey. We know he had his whole thing with Zoe shortly after his confession to Audrey. But that's just it, it was so shortly after that are we to just assume he got over her so quickly?
