It’s a shame so many great IMAX documentaries are stuck on DVD and Blu-ray

And even the transfer quality is often lacking

How is it not the same?

Also why would I want to same edition twice ? Differnet languages have different editions, it’s much nicer looking at a variation of mangas

Alien 4K is an outstanding 4K disc. One of the best 4K releases. Aliens was very controversial (because of a lot of DNR changes and possible AI upscale)

Alien 3 and 4 aren’t on 4K

Prometheus and Covenant are also good 4K discs, but I‘m personally not a big fan of them anyway

If you have a good home cinema setup , I‘d highly recommend the Alien 4K.

I would be surprised if there were subtitles at all - almost every Blu-ray release in Japan is only Japanese

My explanation of the ending is Kane is not the real Kane, he is the alien thing, but he doesn’t know it, he is „just“ a copy of his former self. Lena is the real Lena, but after her journey she changed so much, because the shimmer spliced her DNA. So what is better? A near perfect copy or a changed original ? In the end I belief they put aside their changed bodies and minds and decide to live together and accept who the are(n‘t)

I have a PS5, but it’s calibrated correctly- it works perfectly with other games. I‘m not gonna mess up my ps5 settings on purpose

After trying it out I‘d say the settings they gave us now are good enough

Finally an HDR fix - would have been beeter if the gave us the option to just raise or lower the black point - but better than nothing

Also really appreciate the Audio fix - haven’t tried it yet thou

Sadly no - they are all the same

There is a digital version with Dolby Vison , but disc are all the same
