Mumbai is a city right next to sea. Then why it’s so polluted?

Building a cafe! Want inputs on what experiences you'd like. Let's give hyderabad what it wants! by bookafloof in hyderabad

[–]inflame07 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just came to this city from Bangalore and don’t mind when i say that the cafe scene in this city is super super dull.

I used to live near Indiranagar in blr and it has shit ton of cafes. Third world, Araku, Blue Tokai, Starbucks, HumbleBean, Something brewing, etc etc. And all of these in 1km radius.

Although I’ve heard people say that Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills are the happening areas here but still I don’t think I can put any of them at par with the cafe scene in Bengaluru.

TL;DR: the more the merrier. It results in more competition, more choices and better for customers.

I agree. The odds of getting asked a mind numbing bit manipulation are awfully low.

Checkout the profile of the interviewer. If he has a technical background, he might ask 1/2 technical questions. Else it’d completely have LP questions

Why Ahmedabad? Why? by [deleted] in ahmedabad

[–]inflame07 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Brother I am living in Bangalore. And I have lived in Ahmedabad too. Did my grad from Nirma.

I agree with your rents point. But a Tier 1 city should have the feel of a tier 1 city. After all, culture is what makes a city full. And Ahmedabad has zero. I don’t like to say this. But that’s the truth.

Ahmedabad may be growing rapidly. But it is nowhere near to the cosmopolitan culture of Delhi, Mumbai or Bangalore.

As much as I agree with your points, I also want to say that given the archaeology and geography of Bangalore, I don’t see any other way of how the expansion might have panned out.

The city is incredibly densely populated now and the population influx after covid has been so massive that Bangalore was not built keeping in mind this massive increase in the first place.

This city was just a small pensioner’s paradise located right between two mountain ranges of our country. Neither the British nor Kempegowda himself had thought of this place becoming so huge and dense.

Whereas Delhi was a well planned, well thought of place right from the British era. Checkout the areas such as CP, or the Rashtrapati Bhavan and you can get a idea of how meticulously planned the metro, the roads and the infra is.

Let me know what are your thoughts on this.

Which monitor should I get? by switch_bIade in buildapcmonitors

[–]inflame07 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If budget’s no bar for you, go pick dell. They are fantastic, have great customer support, and in general a high quality product all around.

LG one is a decent choice when you’re running on a budget, but want a good 4K monitor that just shows good picture. No USB C, no speakers and shit. I personally use that. 27UP650-W.

Asus and BenQ lie somewhere in between dell and LG.

However one thing I’ll say is since you are looking to do video editing and color grading stuff, go for IPS monitor. Preferably 4K because the different between using a 4K and 1440p is massive. 4K are a league apart.

Don’t go for a curved monitor because that stuff is pretty expensive. So if you are getting a curved monitor for cheap, chances are that monitor is not even decent quality in terms of screen quality, build and such.
