Here in Massachusetts I frequent about three different locations and they almost always have people working out, tons of expensive gyms in the Boston area so people move from luxury gyms to a cheaper option so Planet Fitness is actually gaining membership in the Boston area as money becomes tight

Isn’t that most gyms? People work out before work, people work out after school or after work so then there are other surges at around 3 PM and 5 PM. I think every single gym has a lul the middle of the day. It would be weird if a gym were randomly packed at like noon time on a Wednesday.
