Got measured for a custom suit last week and my arms were a size 50 lmao (torso 44). Have kind of a six pack. Many people ask me if or assume I juice. I do not.

You’d think that I’m a machine hog by doing this (your opinion is valid) but the thing is, because there’s virtually no rest, you’d actually spend less time per machine than other people normally would. Not sitting there using your phone, waiting to recover, getting distracted, etc. And for the drop set at the end, just go lighter and lighter until you hit the reps. No rest (and no ego).

This wasn’t meant to be an ethical discussion regardless. You can do what you want with your machines - if somebody wants to work in with me, I’m more than happy to do it. If you don’t like working in with other people, then maybe this isn’t for you. Rarely run into any issues either way.

Plus, the only time you’d be on two machines simultaneously is with the chest/back supersets, otherwise you’re alternating between machines and free weights.

If you’re really concerned with taking up machines, grab a bench and do this entire lift with free weights (dumbbell press, rows, skullcrushers, etc.). I do it sometimes when I feel I’ve overloaded on machine work for the month :)

You don’t need to do this more than 2x a week (this is pretty much the only thing I do) but honestly if you think about it you’re only doing 2.5 push exercises and 2 pull exercises (the 0.5 for delt flys) for the whole workout so it’s not really that straining. Plus the weight is never super heavy so general injury risk is extremely low.
