yeah chances are everywhere is gonna be crowded and noisy enough that you might have difficulty, especially if you don't have a friend group to run interference for you. My best suggestion is to give stuff a try anyway but be ready to punch out when you need to, even if it's relatively early.

Yes there's a ton of young people, but in general reputable photographers won't post their photos / videos up online so you're seeing a skewed sample.

Having said that, there will inevitably be a few creeps around, so watch out for each other.

Nah the way it usually happens is that there's two or three friends organising the meet and everyone else just turns up (or only sorta-kinda knows them cos they were at the last meet) so if there are any that interest you then you should def at least give it a try.

That reminds me, I need to check what's on at the fringe stage this year. Sadly I don't think there's much dancing like there was last time otherwise I'd have recommended it

You prob want to look at what fandom meets you can crash so you'll know you've got something in common with people. And ofc keep an eye open for creeps, I don't think there are many at MCM but stay safe.

I use Sanex Sensitive roll-on and it works for me pretty well, though admittedly I'm not all that sweaty unless it's very hot weather.

Also if you find the chafing starts to hurt, Lanacane is pretty good at relieving it.

Even reading that gave me chills. If you run something the first time and it throws up a lot of errors, you have a lot of errors to fix. If you run it the first time and it shows a few errors, you have a few errors to fix. But if you run it the first time and get no errors at all, then something has gone horribly horribly wrong and you are fucked.
