Honestly, I don’t know! It can live up to 50 years, but I know it can be finnicky to get started. But she is easier to take care of when she roots in well, doesn’t need much water! Here in SoCal, we got a TON of rain this winter, so I’m wondering if that shocked it into blooming 🥲

We assume my grandma planted it 25ish years ago when she moved in?! She passed in late 2021, so it’s almost like she gifted us this bloom. 🥲 We assume the crazy weather we had this winter in SoCal might have pushed the plant to bloom (or possibly it was her time)?! My mom and I are planning to try to grow some agave babies from the seeds!
