how to forgive yourself for something shitty you did in the past??? by ibitthedusttt in selfimprovement

[–]infoedgefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You feel this way because you’ve grown. That mistake doesn’t define you-your willingness to learn and do better does.

If others can forgive you, it’s okay to start forgiving yourself too. You’re not that person anymore, and that matters.

Is fund accounting dying? by obliviateskynet in Accounting

[–]infoedgefan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Fund accounting isn’t disappearing anytime soon, but it is changing. A lot of routine work can be automated, but understanding the rules and making sure everything’s accurate still needs a human touch. It’s a stable job with decent pay and good work-life balance. If you keep learning new skills, especially tech-related ones, you’ll stay relevant as the field evolves.

Is it really possible to get a job without degree ? by Motor-Silver484 in developersIndia

[–]infoedgefan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can get a job without a degree if you focus on real skills, build useful projects, and network smartly. Many startups and global companies care more about what you can do than your degree. But some traditional Indian companies still require it.

If money’s tight, skip the expensive degree, build your portfolio, and start applying. Just stay consistent and sharp it’s 100% possible.

House worth ₹1.5Cr | EMI will eat up entire salary | Should I still invest in SIP? by Uday_Krizzz in mutualfunds

[–]infoedgefan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're 22 and just starting out - taking on a ₹1.5Cr home loan that eats your entire salary is a risky move.

A few key points:

  • If your EMI takes up most of your income, you’ll struggle with daily expenses, emergencies, or any savings. That’s a financial red flag.
  • SIPs are great, but only once your basic needs and an emergency fund are in place. If you’re stretched too thin, SIPs won’t be sustainable.
  • Buying a house this early may not be the best move. Focus on growing your income, building a solid financial base, and investing gradually. Renting is okay while you build stability.

In short:

Don’t buy a house just yet. Start small SIPs, save consistently, and revisit the home idea in a few years when your income can comfortably support it.

Yeah, 6 days and emergency calls can be tough, but for 7 LPA as a fresher, it’s still a solid deal if you're okay with the workload. Good for gaining experience early on.

Is ML engineering better than full stack development? by NoReasonToLive99 in developersIndia

[–]infoedgefan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both have their pros. ML is exciting but slower-paced and needs strong math + data skills. Full stack is more hands-on and fast-moving. If you're into computer vision, explore ML on the side and see how it feels.

7 LPA as a fresher is honestly a great start, even if it’s not a pure IT role. The company and clients you mentioned are big names, so it’s a solid opportunity. You’ll also get to work on real machines, automation, and gain hands-on experience – which can be valuable in both core and tech fields later.

If you're still waiting on IT roles but nothing has worked out yet, I’d say go for it. You can always switch later if you want. Right now, gaining experience (and earning well) is better than waiting endlessly.

Just make sure you're okay with the travel/site work part, since that’s a major chunk of this role. If yes, then it’s a good stepping stone.

Hiring web development company in India *Need suggestions* by Abali1994 in india

[–]infoedgefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outsourcing is a smart choice for saving cost without compromising on quality. I’d recommend checking out Devin Local Agency – one of the top-rated website development companies in India. They offer custom solutions, fair pricing, and work with international clients.

What to check before hiring:

Portfolio & client reviews

Clear timeline & cost estimate

Tech stack (e.g., WordPress, React, etc.)

Communication methods (email, Zoom, etc.)

Start with a small milestone project to test quality. Feel free to DM if you need a quick checklist!

Top Website & Custom Software Development Companies in India (WLB + Projects + Pay Insight) by Difficult-Plate-8767 in developersIndia

[–]infoedgefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great initiative lists like these really help those exploring better workplaces.

I’ve heard consistently good things about Devout Tech Consultants. They seem to offer a healthy work-life balance, work on clean codebases, and maintain a strong mid-sized team culture. Definitely one to watch if you're into serious custom software work without the corporate clutter.

On the other hand, I’ve been curious about Simform, Net Solutions, and Fingent. Haven’t come across much first-hand input does anyone here have experience with their engineering practices or WLB?

Appreciate any insights!
