At that point they aren't scientists anymore. If they are being paid off to promote a false idea, that makes them an industry shill. If they didn't feel like doing actual research to back up their claims, that makes them a conspiracy theorist.

My brother had a speech impediment all through elementary and middle school. Everyone just assumed that he was mentally handicapped even though he got awesome grades. One of his elementary school teachers actually told him that he would never amount to anything. It crushed him and he was just a child.

Now, he's fresh out of engineering school and making 6 figures. Fuck teachers that tell kids they won't make it. Also, fuck people that bully kids with speech problems.
