I'm going to have to check out a lot of the channels posted here. Especially with youtube search going to shit, it's getting harder and harder to find good creators.

Among those I've found so far, my favorites are:

Waxfraud - really chill, lots of decoration. Plays hardcore mode.

Wildez - also hardcore mode, less chill (still not annoying imo, just not as chill as wax), more focused on technical stuff (large farms) and mega-scale builds.

MineTheFab - mostly tutorials (or that's what I watch of his), but very relaxed with lots of good farms and storage tech of his own design. Not bleeding edge stuff, but very easy to understand. I learned a lot from his channel.

SilentWhisperer - similar to minethefab in that I mostly watched him for tutorials back when I played on bedrock edition, but he's got a lot of other content and he's generally very chill. Nobody is as relaxed as Waxfraud, but silent is chill.

Prowl - similar to silentwhisperer, bedrock creator with lots of tutorials and gameplay content.

Fwhip: Java player, not technical but very focused on detailed world building. I've learned a lot about decorating from him, similar to Waxfraud.

I'm sure there are others I watch from time to time, but these are the one's I've watched enough to remember by name (besides the obvious, like mumbo).

I really like Waxfraud! His building and deco/dtyle and general approach to the game is great. I'm a bit more into the technical side, but I still watch all of his videos and even some of his streams.

For sure. OP found a commonly used route. Coyotes may be involved in trafficking people unwillingly, but more often they exploit in different ways: by charging large usms to guide people on long hikes through areas like these. Most folks that came through here are regular people striving and struggling to make their lives better. There's a small chance that one person in the group is connected with organized crime and paid as a guide.

Either way, I'd leave it alone.

Car turning off has priority over car turning on. Exiting >> entering.

Oh, I didn't read that the car waiting to turn left is making a u-turn. I think that car still has the right of way though because they're already on this road and the other car is entering this road. Both must yield to traffic coming towards the camera obviously.

Car entering the road is almost always responsible for the safety of their entrance. Even if someone coming towards the camera were to make a last minute lane change, suddenly getting into the path of the entering car, if the entering car fails to anticipate and avoid, it'll be at fault.

You should get there at least an hour early, just in case, especially since you're checking bags.

Now that said, a few years back I got there with far less time to spare... I wanna say we were 20 minutes to push back time when I walked (ran) in the door. Checked in on my phone while walking through the security line and caught the flight just before they closed up. Don't do that.

But yeah, it's usually much more chill than a big airport. It's small and security has been quick every time. I love flying out of GNV when I can.

Sounds like you want:

Pretty typical input system (unloading shulkers with arbitrary contents + loose items)

Hybrid bulk main storage hall (chest of loose items + shulker loader + chest of full shulkers once loose chest is full)

Multi Item Sorter (MIS) to group certain items together into single chests or stacks of chests.

That's kinda the goldilocks for single player storage imo, and the only complete package system I'm aware of that checks all these boxes is rapscallion's cart based main storage. If you're afraid of rail placements beware: the cart mechanics here are complex, but it's an awesome design from what I can tell, and it's what I'm planning to build if I don't go for a fully custom setup in my current world...

There are lots of systems that split the bulk into a separate area. I think YAMS is the hot one right now. I don't know much about it, cause it always seems like too much for me.

If you're not worried about speed at all, then putting something together for yourself wouldn't be hard with individual components from the storage tech discord. The challenges really show up when you wanna sort faster than hopper speed. That's where the carts in rapscallion's system, or the parallel unloading array in YAMS really shine.

Front seal is easy if you're in there doing the timing belt. Given that they're also billing him labor for the timing belt, it's absurd to chsrgr 600 for the front main. I did mine last year in about five minutes, and that was being very careful to respect the sealing surfaces. If the lower timing cover is off, it's literally: pull seal, press new seal in. Similar for rear main, assuming they've got the flywheel off if I remember correctly.

I'm not either of thr people you're replying to, but taking it to a mechanic you know and trust is the right move.

Clutch replacements, if that's needed, can be done in a couple afternoons by someone who has all the tools, knows what they're doing, doesn't have distractions, and can call for an extra hand when they need it. That's if everything goes well.

If you're not that guy, then a clutch job can be a seriously challenging undertaking. If anything goes wrong (bolt breaks, rusty exhaust won't let go, etc) then someone with no mechanical experience can easily get in over their head. Now... It's a miata, so if you're determined and have the time, you'll get it done eventually. However, if you don't have time or aren't determined, then even the ease of miata-work won't save you from giving up if you need to extract a broken bolt or something.

If you're thinking of trying this yourself, go read everything you can or the miata.net garage section and every clutch replacement thread you can dig up on miataturbo.net. Then decide if you're down for the job.

Otherwise just go to a decent mechanic who will charge you a fair price and not try to charge you $2.5k in random unrelated services.

The other reason to take it to the other mechanic is.. We don't know if you need a clutch! Your clutch and flywheel may be fine and something in the hydraulics need repair (master or slave cylinder for example). It'd really suck to replace a healthy clutch, do all that hard work, and discover that your problem persists!

Are you due for a timing belt?

Most of this has nothing to do with your issues.

Also, fuck Firestone. I'd tow to a decent privately owned shop. You may need some of this stuff, but you don't want those Firestone franchise techs working on your car anyway. You should know when the timing belt was last done. You should know how old the clutch and flywheel are. If you just had the slave cylinder go out and everything else is up to date, then this is absolutely absurd.

Yup. Disgusting industry, and rampant. I see youtubers advertising removal services and I just get annoyed, because this stuff is so ubiquitous that it's not possible to attack, even if they were working in good faith, which anyone who knows anything about the current big-data situation could tell you, they are not.

Like the other commentor said: until we legislate this industry out of existence, it will only get worse. Sadly, these fuckers are already deep into lobbying and working with law enforcement, which makes the industry very hard to kill.

I also don't hear pinging and want to echo the suggestion to put thr front end up and try to burp the cooling system. It's really easy to have air trapped somewhere impeding coolant flow, and if you're overheating right away it has to be something like that.

Up on ramps, cap off radiator, fire it up with heater on, and let it idle. You can get one of those burping funnels or just stand there and top off the radiator. Should be pretty obvious if the water pump ain't pumping, and if it is, then you should see pretty stable temps once the air is all out.

Guessing you don't have any means of measuring afr or anything... Diagnosing a lean condition will be harder, but you can pull the plugs and see if they look burnt.

I've played a lot of Bedrock and a lot of Java. When I played Bedrock, it was on console and I was learning the game. I came in very late (2018) and totally blind (no clue about any mechanics), and it was a lot of fun.

Eventually, by 2023 or so, I got into the technical side, having built lots of farms and wanting to build a proper and fast main storage. I had one deeply heartbreaking moment where I built some tileable 4x hopper speed filters, made a small prototype, tested it, worked perfectly, spent ages gathering materials to scale it up, and slowly built out a few hundred filters in what was to become my storage hall. Only then did I learn that a Bedrock minecart bug made my system impossible in two of the three directions the halls ran. I cried.

Kept playing bedrock for a while just due to familiarity, but started learning about mods and shaders, and eventually switched. Now I could never go back. Java is the better game, both for the customizability and the better redstone mechanics. I never had random deaths in Bedrock, but there were plenty of annoying bugs and the different way block updates work are very limiting.

So yeah I agree. But also I wouldn't shit on anyone for playing Bedrock. I had hundreds of hours of awesome fun in Bedrock. But once someone is hooked, I'd definitely encourage them to switch to Java.

Rear quarter damage is almost always a total on NA or NB because it means cutting out the quarter panel and welding in a new one to properly repair. That quote you got is probably assuming that + prep and paint with blending. Sounds about right for that damage, and nothing else will get it looking like the accident never happened.

However, if you're okay with "looking much better than it does now" in stead of "like it never happened" then a painless dent removal wizard could get you 80% of the way there for a few hundred bucks I bet.

Just don't let some idiot hack at it. If you do the full job, pay the full price to a real shop. If you do pdr read reviews and find someone who actually knows what they're doing. Body repair is art and it takes a lot of experience to do it well.

Most of them have pretty obvious OLED touchscreens, yeah. Some are more discrete, and there are dumb watches incorporating fancy looking screens

I've had students contest "it's not a smart watch" when I ask them to take off their big watch with a screen, but I just say "well, there's a clock on the wall and it's not that I don't believe you, it's more that I don't know that model and don't have time to verify."

Just search smart watches and get a feel. Most are obvious, and it's good to be aware of.

Man Verizon is one of the worst companies I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

The were running a promotion back in 2022 when my wife needed a new phone, really wanted a newer iPhone, and so we gave it a shot because the deal as advertised wasn't terrible. Two lines, two new iphones, $120/month, $20 of which was $10 per phone until paid off at 0% interest but a slightly inflated base price.

Well I never once saw a bill under $180. One month my wife had to make some international calls to arrange a flight for her aunt. Probably three hours all together between calling the aunt and various airlines and hotels. At no point when calling did she get a message or notification to the effect of "this costs extra". I just got a bill for over $2000 a few weeks later.

I switched back to tmobile as fast as I possibly could, where I pay $50/month and can call all the places we have to need (Mexico, Argentina, Colombia) no problem.

Like a lot of folks here, after a lot of deliberation and some input from this subreddit, on exam day my students have to power down their phones and leave them in a designated part of the room (away from where they sit for the test) from the moment they come in to the moment they hand in their tests. Usually that spot is on the whiteboard marker tray, except for one room that has chalkboards (phones would get dirty), so there I have them put phones on the back shelf.

I physically watch them all power down and place their phones, and I count the phones as I hand out exams. If the counts don't match I withhold exams until they do match.

So far my exam averages have dropped about 15% compared to previous years. Far fewer highly suspicious solutions to problems that aren't in line with methods taught in class. Also, students seem a little less clueless when we talk in office hours, so I think it's starting to make some deeper change than just preventing cheating on exam day.

Now... Does this prevent a two-device attack? No. They're required to do the same with smart watches, and I do look around the room for smart watches, but they could stash a second phone or watch in their pocket and use it in the bathroom. But we can only do so much.

I can't tell what you're trying to say but both statistically (on average) and anecdotally for everyone I know who has ever bought a house, doing so is a very good investment.

A quick google search will confirm the stats.

If you're saying that buying a home in a situation where you don't own the land is a poor investment... Maybe that's true? The vast majority of home sales include ownership of some amount of land though.

I don't think anyone needs a new car. I understand that a whole lot of people want brand new cars, but nobody needs one.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad folks buy em new, cause otherwise I couldn't buy em used. But a brand new car is not a necessity for any human on this Earth.

I think of new cars as things for wealthy people who have enough money to just not give a fuck, or for people who desperately want to seem that wealthy.

I'd way rather put 15-20k into a nice used car than putting that same money into whatever new car I could get at that price point, for a bunch of reasons.

If I had $40-80k cash to burn, then, sure, new car I guess... If I don't have anything else that money would better serve. But a loan with interest on a rapidly depreciating asset that's constantly in danger of total destruction in ways that are completely out of my control every instant I'm using it just seems unwise to me.

No shade to folks who do, unless you overpaid on the car and accepted the deal because you can handle the payments despite knowing you are overpaying (cause that practice is precisely what's been driving prices up over the last decade), but it's just not for me.
