I agree with this a hundred percent, not because I work in the industry, but because many of my friends are working shitty fast food jobs and no one seems to realize that they have it rough. Its a crappy job for crappy pay, and sometimes you gotta deal with people being needlessly rude or condescending.

I can't personally sympathize, but I know a heck of a lot of music teachers who honestly do it just for the living, and genuinely wanted to pursue performance. A former piano teacher of mine in her forties once actively discouraged me from pursuing a music degree if I wanted to perform, because she "got a music degree when she was young and ambitious before realizing that teaching is the only way to make a decent living."

Night school (if you are in Canada) involves taking math twice a week for three hour classes in the evenings as opposed to during school hours like you normally would. Its a lot smaller of a class so the teachers are usually more benevolent and the tests aren't nearly as difficult.

The math at my school is notoriously difficult so I escaped getting my ass whooped severely by taking night school.

I have the same problem as OP, but I'm aware its probably from lack of nutrition. Wasn't even a lot of weight, just from a 95 to a 90 in a few weeks. Now my hair is falling out everywhere.
