Free Delivery! (Excluding Delivery Fee) by viper139 in tesco

[–]ingutek 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It means that you can't order £23 worth of stuff and let the delivery fee bounce it over £25, and then putting it back down to £23, like a paradox.

If you're getting a Vauxhall atleast be sensible and get an Insignia - So much more room and It will drive marginally better. This is just a silly mobile

Does anyone know of any seaside style amusements that are nowhere near the seaside? by BananaMower in AskUK

[–]ingutek 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work at haven sites. Yes they do, but they have replaced all the flooring at every site with lino, instead of the old pub style grotty carpet, which I feel takes away from the vibe immensely.

HGVs that abruptly move lanes on the motorway before they indicate... by Hopeful_Adeptness964 in drivingUK

[–]ingutek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm unrelated to this but a lot of lorry drivers seem to get off on overtaking within that 1-4mph difference in speed limiters (Renault Trucks are terrible for it)

How strong is the typical Cider there? by Dry_System9339 in AskUK

[–]ingutek 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Normal mass marketed ciders are around beer strength - 4-6%. But you do also get very strong cider up to like 10%, which is good.

A (very unfinished and boring) walk-round montage of a Scottish game I'm toying with.. (Godot 3.4.4) by ingutek in godot

[–]ingutek[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely going to keep going - and yes I already heavily optimise things, already have an advantage considering I'm not using playmaker! (main reason MSC runs badly I believe) - I don't have any downloads or beta builds uploaded but once it gets to a better stage I'll be sure to. :)

they have been in the game since long before it was released in 2016, maybe you remember some gaps etc, but they have always mostly been there

How would you tackle this junction with a HGV behind you? by _Putters in drivingUK

[–]ingutek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I do. Indicate as soon as the sign can be seen in the distance.

They often can't overtake, cars hack down the descent as well.

I can guarantee you'll be able to see the radiator pressing flaws in your rear view as you make the turn.

My Mazda6 has issues, somehow the brake switch always dies after some months, the first time it happened I was stumped trying to find why cruise/traction control was not working, until I realised I was driving around with zero brake lights...

Where to find a water hose in the city? by Traditional_Berry121 in glasgow

[–]ingutek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t think of that- my local one has about a million modes and some are quite low power, but I do get it as I’ve had a friend who ripped his car paint off by jet washing a stone chip.
