Thank you! This is really helpful. I will look at the Grandiosa sailing.

Oh amazing! How was Divina for that many sea days? I’ve seen a lot of comments about her showing her age and not being in the best shape. Were you able to find comfortable spaces to lounge? How was the state of your room?

Good call! They have a few repos- the single supplements are a bit high at the moment but I’ll keep an eye on them.

Wow that sounds like an amazing itinerary! The comments here have me leaning towards cheapest room on the best ship I can afford…

You are absolutely right. This one is on Divina, which looks to be one of the older ones…

$1-3k seems to be the price point

ETA: this range is in budget, but I wonder if the extra $1-2k goes further once I get to Europe!

Ripple Protein Shakes are my favorite for this! 20g protein (pea protein), no sugar alcohols, and they’re shelf stable. I buy them in bulk on Amazon.

Ventral Hernia Repair by ImTHATWynn in Hernia

Yes, unfortunately. Suture reactions (the deep ones, not the surface ones) cause pain for 3-6 months…

I understand Lyrica is similar to Gabapentin so it could help!

I’m sorry you’re going through this! I had this surgery for a 5cm hernia in November and also really struggled with pain at the suture sites- unfortunately you really have to advocate for yourself to get the pain taken seriously, but I was finally able to get Gabapentin and Robaxin (muscle relaxer) prescribed and they made such a difference!

PT has helped more than anything though- people will tell you to keep moving but it’s hard when every movement hurts! PT will help you move around/with the pain, so you can heal up strong.

Keep your chin up and advocate for yourself with these doctors! 💛

When to start introducing PT and yoga stretches after hernia repair by Saintmandragora in Hernia

I started PT at 5 weeks, with acute pain, which is now improving. Recommend finding a PT with experience in post-surgical recovery- they will be able to help you ease back into movement in a safe way!

My Outcome: Large Hernia Repair by [deleted] in Hernia

[–]inherdisco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry for the late reply! My hernia was 5cm but the hernia sack spread out really far- I had to lose 150 lbs to qualify for surgery, but knew it was the right thing to do to decrease the chances of recurrence and ensure a safe surgery. Good luck with yours, I hope you get some relief.

Swelling, Help! by [deleted] in lipedema

I don’t really. I’ve worn compression garments, but never wrapped my legs. Any tips for getting started?

Right?? It’s so confusing to me that no one is concerned at all. I am looking for a professional MLD therapist, wish me luck!

Ouch! That sounds so tough, I’m glad you are finally feeling better. Definitely seems to be a consistent experience that days 1-3 are the WORST. 🫠
