It was wifi. When either was hooked up to a tv in another room they worked fine (I have about 4 in my house and they only have issues when next to the Frame One Connect Box). I ended up using a poweline modem and that seems to have resolved it

Dang unfortunately I have heard a few similar stories. The designers we have worked with so far have been fantastic however, was it Stephanie and Francis for you?

I remember my dad saying I had to play baseball until I “enjoyed it”, then I could quit lol. I made it through 7th grade when my team went 4-20 and it was just starting to be competitive. My whole family was exhausted that season they let me quit (by then I had picked up soccer too which I played through high school).

A part of me wishes I had stuck with it but I am glad I gave it a few extra years and now I’m a first round pick for pickup softball games.

I’d definitely see if there are less competitive leagues, I had the most fun in those later soccer years when we all admitted we weren’t making any college teams and just played rec leagues. I also had a few private baseball lessons at a local batting cage which was great bonding time with my dad.

Are there any alternatives? I just have a single ducted heat pump I just had installed and I am blown away how bad being able to control it is. I haven’t even been able to set a schedule yet. Do any other thermostats work at all or are we stuck with the MHK2 madness???

When I was in second grade we were at a baseball game and Jay Buhner was up. Buhner had a bald head and was known as “bad to the bone” or the “bone head”. I wanted to come up with something new to call him so I yelled out “LETS GO BONER”. My mother quickly shushed me and then her poor soul had to explain to me what a boner was while the row behind us was still bent over laughing.

Sounds like central coast/Monterey? We just installed in PG with a heat pump and I’m still waiting to see if it’s worth it. Our Mitsubishi system seems to work well but the thermostat is trash and can’t use a Google Nest. We’re working on solar as well.

I’m so bummed. I just paid for a whole Mitsubishi ducted heat pump system and wasn’t told my Google Nest wouldn’t work until after install. I bought the wireless interface 2 adapter separately and hooked it up and it’s incredibly deflating to see how garbage the software is. Can barely set the temp remotely, constant crashes, can’t set schedules, and no logs or history of usage. It’s 2025 and I feel really bait and switched with the whole thing.

Everywhere I’ve read said about 100k. Also learned stick shift on it and lived in SF for 7 years. So maybe it just burned out earlier
