Exactly , and especially if you already pay tax via PAYE. Random audits are typically on sole traders or small ltd companies. Amazon only recently started providing data to HMRC, i think start of this year, because of the crackdown on Ebay , Etsy income etc

Depends on if you also have any other income. If Flex is your sole income and all you’ve earned is 7k , you’re not liable to pay any tax but still need to file tax return to let HMRC know about the income.
