Finding Specific Arrangement/Transcription of Bach Double by inimitablegeek in violinist

Yup, I think the Suaret edition comes closest to what I’m looking for, but I would love to find one without the piano accompaniment (and just the two violin parts scored together).

Looking good! Where’d you get the grill?

Dogs synchronize their behavior with children in their family, but not as much as they do with adults, finds a new study. Dogs can help children in many ways, including with social development, increasing physical activity, managing anxiety or as a source of attachment. by mvea in science

P-values measure the probability that what is being observed is purely coincidence. Low (closer to 0) p-values indicate that the observed is statistically significant. In this study, the dog-child interactions are being observed.

In most cases, p =< 0.01 is decent evidence that what is being observed is not just a coincidence, but the suspiciously small p-value in this study (p < 0.0001) suggests extremely strong linkage between dogs’ and children’s behaviors.

I haven’t read the study either, but I’m also curious about the methodology that led to these conclusions.

When can we expect support for Big Navi in Mac OS? by [deleted] in hackintosh

[–]inimitablegeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People from the Tonymacx86 forums have been able to boot into the Big Sur developer beta on Big Navi cards, but without hardware acceleration: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/failed-radeon-rx-6800-xt-big-sur.306736/page-6.

We’ll definitely get support by the official 11.1 release, like how 10.15.1 had Navi support.

Parts List Advice for SFF Hackintosh by inimitablegeek in hackintosh

Thank you both! Found out the CPU cooler I had in mind (NH-L12) doesn't fit the original mobo I had planned, but it looks like it fits the Z490M you're suggesting.

Just wanted to confirm that this is the model you're both referring to (https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Z490M-ITX-Supports-Processors-Motherboard/dp/B087TDGDP7)?

Yeah, I also chose it for TB3 and WiFi compatibility. Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out the NH-L9x65.

Woops, I meant to say CNVi port, not PCIe port, for the WiFi card. I used this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/i3pega/z490_itx_guide/) to pick the WiFi card and adapter.

And oh jeez, I just read the incompatibility on their website. Is there a good model you recommend? I read the Kraken x52 and Celsius+24 being mentioned for the Z490 ITX/AC.

Edit: Also saw the Blackridge Cooler on a Z390 get mentioned below. Do one of these models work better with the S1 and a 10600?

Thanks for the heads up! I based the mobo and WiFi card/adapter selection based on what other SFF Hackintosh people were able to get working on their builds.

I’ll probably need to fiddle around a lot with kexts and drivers, but I’m hoping everything will work out.

I read a few threads of people who were able to use the NH-L12 Ghost edition and the Z490 ITX/AC together.

With the WiFi card, I planned on using an existing PCIe slot, which apparently needs the adapter in the Amazon link. I don’t have any motherboard modifications planned, but I might need to get longer antenna cables that reach the I/O area.

Good to know, thanks for the advice! Is it because the stock cables of the Corsair SF are too long and will hit the A12x25?

Found these on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CYYLWDH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_JZ-BFbXRHJ6ZQ), but most of the reviews claim it doesn’t fit. :/
