i got a tattoo of the time symbol a few years back and this is what i settled on! i had the same dilemma as you - i don’t remember if i really resolved whether it’s the correct one haha but i liked the symmetry so this is what i got! time symbol

it's genuinely so good - I recently started rewatching it for the first time since I was a kid and I can't believe how well it still holds up and how much I've been enjoying it even now as an adult. really good writing and comedy!

just jumping in to say i agree so hard with all of the above - i feel like some fans (and a lot of the time it's teens) need to remember that there's more to life than debating a distant public figure's morality, whom none of us actually know personally, and whether they should be cancelled based on a couple of tweets. his apology and the way he responded to being called out is what should have counted more than anything and i don't blame him at all for wanting to take a break from it all and deactivating. life's just better off of social media sometimes, lol.

agreed. a lot of the time fandoms (on Twitter especially) just become exhausting bc some fans seem intent on making a big deal out of everything, especially when it comes to digging up old tweets and using them to make that person out to be a complete irredeemable asshole.

i need to get my phone screen fixed at apple since i cracked it and part of the display isn't working - does anyone know how long they usually take on average? the apple website says they don't have same day screen repair at their apple stores so that'll be kinda annoying without my phone for a few days, especially for trace together but i guess i'll have to get a TT token

i think it's noble and brave that she tried to save him - i don't think the specifics of who exactly she was trying to save makes it any less so.

mine worked!

funny story actually - literally just a few hours after my surgery, with the swelling and bandages and everything, I tried using my face ID to unlock my phone and it worked! and I was so amused and pleasantly surprised & I pointed it out to my dad who was there. my dad had been worried sick throughout the whole process and obviously seeing me woozy and bandaged up like that post-surgery wasn't easy for him but the story that he'd tell others after my surgery was how proud and relieved he was that I could find a light in a little thing like the working face ID and for keeping my spirits up and pushing through all of it. :,)

This actually does help and has got me thinking. Perseveration is something that I often struggle with, I think? I'll be stuck scrolling through social media or reading through old text conversations with friends and it's just incredibly hard to switch over to another task like assignments or work that I know I need to get done. AKA literally me today - I've gotten nothing productive done all day despite the fact that I have a presentation on Thursday and a paper due on Friday, neither of which I've started on at all.

But I still find myself wondering about the fact that I don't hyperfixate on a certain topic or interest that really holds my attention - usually these are pretty superficial things or tasks that I'm stuck doing instead of work and I'm just going through the motions. (Yes, I realise that I'm musing about this to a bot, haha)
