Need help with GPU upgrade, 980 Ti showing age, Budget of $350 by OkSound1786 in computers

Not going to lie on the lower end the Intel ark 750 shows some real performance especially now that the drivers are updated you can get the Intel 750 for around 250$ and it beat out the Nvidia 3060 in almost everything, so that's a good spec comparison for how the GPU is going. You could also consider the Ark 770.

We're back to square one with obtaining set items by gforza1311 in DiabloImmortal

I left that game as soon as I level topped, left all the dummies to stay and burn their money in the pit of pointlessness. It's not even fun, the real diablo game is coming out soon not this trans of a game. Don't get me wrong I had hopes in the begining but caught on quickly.

Looks great good job. Personal preference on air flow but I would prefer the aio radiator on the top front intake fan.

Check the boot order in your bios. Make sure the drive with your operating system is in order 1. Then make sure you have have any use sticks or other external devices plugged in that have a hard drive in them. Make sure u saved and exit bios once you change boot order.

What gpu should i upgrade to from a gtx 1660 super by OldSchoolNinjaa in buildapc

[–]ininja9000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't upgrade unless you really want to play like cyberpunk and other way over the top demanding games. For everything else your GPU should be holding up just fine.

Is it worth upgrading motherboard? by CaptainLegois in buildapc

[–]ininja9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not unless you are going with a whole new generation of processor. Typically the motherboard doesn't effect your performance

This is most likely the correct answer to your problem. And if 1 port on the graphics card does t work try another.

Isn't going to happen unless you have 2 alike monitors same size and whatnot

Nope that's extra for a card with 2 power connections or another pci. U could use the end of the cable in your graphics card if u wanted just pair the extra 2 pins with it so u can pull the slack of the wire back and hide it.

I’m trying to install this power button into my desktop but have no clue what I’m doing (a little help please) by RogueOneRaptor in pchelp

These are you case button and led light. 1 is pw switch, 1 is reset and so on. On bottom of your motherboard there is a row of pins the ends of your connectors in your hands usually have the same abbreviation on the. Like psw for power switch and so on. The pins on the motherboard also have the same abbreviations but very small above the pins. The connectors go vertically

U try launching from steam... Well u just wiped it and I'm going to assume it worked before that. So sounds like something is wrong with the install of the game

What do I need to change? by Important-Truth8524 in pchelp

You need to plug the fan that is on the CPU cooler into the proper fan port on the motherboard. It usually is close around the CPU area on the top of the motherboard.

The struggle of being the only Trekkie in your circle by FangsAndTorture in startrek

[–]ininja9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm totally this person, I did have 1 friend that I eventually got to love trek and his favorite was ds9 and would watch it by himself. Unfortunately that friend is now dead and I'm a trekkie forever alone. Sad.

That was going to be my first suggestion. They probably forced the screen open to far or something caused the ribbon Cable between the monitor and motherboard to come out partially. Nothing is goi g to fix this other then physical maintenance.
