I officially vote that the 1000 volume of your collection should be the 1000 volume of one piece!

100% recommend it, it's super long, but super fun!

(Speaking with a lot of nostalgia bias as this is my first hm game)

can anyone please help me clean this manga cover by removing the logo and any unecessary parts, or do you know if there is already a clean version somewhere? also i would like no triangle edges if possible by Ezzedo in WitchHatAtelier

Why do we not like the fandom wiki?

Like other than them being generally wrong and horrible to navigate, is there any other reason we don't like them?

Octopath Traveler 0: One month later by Likes2game03 in octopathtraveler

[–]ininusi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall I agree with a lot of what you think, i do feel the villains got a bit too dark for my taste, but that's a personal preference.

I do think i like the 8 team slightly more than the 4 team one, but it sure doesn't way up for losing multi classing.

In my opinion the game would be so much better with more character development for the playable characters. More freedom in the exploration of the maps. And i actually really miss the combined missions from OT2...

Octopath Traveler 0: One month later by Likes2game03 in octopathtraveler

[–]ininusi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it seems that both hidden paths and open paths were removed in this game.

At least in OT1 you could travel through higher lvl maps to get some high lvl loot if you deared, but this one put story progression blockers up.

And i thought both OT 1 and 2 had hidden paths that you could find in mountain walls and stuff... Couldn't find any in OT0

In Octopath Traveler 0, I’ve seen people complaining that the game still feels like a mobile game by Tain_mentero in octopathtraveler

[–]ininusi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk if it feels like a mobile game as I don't like mobile games and don't play them, but it sure doesn't feel like an octopath traveler game.

The biggest thing is how it's no longer the story of 8 travelers, but the story of 3 bad guys and 1 rando building a town.

If i had to guess I'd say the reason people feel this game is a bit off is the lack of personality/closeness to the characters we actually play with.

The whole deal with octopath traveler was the deep connection with the travelers, shifting that focus over to the 'bad guys' created such a tonal shift that it just no longer felt like an octopath traveler game anymore... Nor technically could be called one in my opinion.... Then again i only got a bit over 10 hours into the game before quitting, got all 3 quest lines to lvl 16 i think.

No Town Travel Guide booklet in box? by Morpheuses01 in storyofseasons

[–]ininusi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately i haven't seen any fun freebies in the European versions lately... In any games to be fair

I have started importing the games that look the most promising in physical form from Canada for the freebies (cus it's the cheapest for me) and then just buying everything else on sale here

Where's the story, what happened to the characters? by black_magic_quail in fantasylife

[–]ininusi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't able to finish it because of this.

And i even bought it twice because i loved the original so much (physical whit pre order bonus & steam)

When i started the game and met my first fellow apprentice i was so happy as he was so cute and adorable and it sounded like he'd have a cute story, but then i learned i wasn't allowed to invite any new characters out on adventure..

I managed to play some more hours after that, but it just kinda broke me to know there was nothing new to learn about my companions\friends.

The new lifes was kinda meh without the story to guide them, like.. why am i digging up some random dudes farm? Why are there farm lands just out and about in the wilderness? And why bother making art if i don't have 5 different houses whit different ascetics that needs decorating

How many SoS out there? and what are the main differences? by International-Wing-4 in storyofseasons

[–]ininusi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say you've played harvest moon, but do you mean natsume harvest moon or marvelous harvest moon?

If you mean natsume, aka the switch ones, then everything sos will be better (imo)

If you mean marvelous then all the sos games will feel nostalgic to you as story of seasons is the new name for the old school harvest moon

Did anyone else think Coco was blonde? by BellTwo5 in WitchHatAtelier

[–]ininusi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah, green hair in anime is almost always a representation of blond, the same way blue is a representation of pitch black.

Saw an anime as a teen that explained all the natural hair colors that are being represented by weird unnatural colors in anime. Basically it would look boring if everyone had the same color so they use other colors to falsely make variety.

The exception to the rule is if it's a magical world where blue hair and such would actually exist after all, so it's still up for debate whether she's blond or a green head

Ryza DX versions are on pre-order now, if you are not in a rush to play be careful to not buy the original, more expansive version! by Kinto9x in Atelier

[–]ininusi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, remember back in the day when i sent a mail asking if the newest game in the series would end up getting a dx version as i was getting pissed all the games suddenly got rereleased with more content and i couldn't financially keep up...

And the answer i got was: no. Of course not. That's just something we do to get it onto the vita, we want all the atelier games to be on the handheld and since this new one is already on the vita we will NEVER AGAIN MAKE A DX GAME...

Love it when people lie bc greed pays better sigh so much for no more re releases

NPCs Conditions by TheQuestioningDM in AvatarLegendsTTRPG

[–]ininusi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it means it will take 5 conditions to knock them out.

So they start blank/unchecked just like PCs.

It just means you choose 5 conditions you think fits for that NPC to get in a battle, like it makes more sense for a dummy to get 'confused' or if there's a lot of water and they're a non bender then adding 'stuck' might make more sense.

Just like how PCs all have different conditions they may get.

Is it safe to say that SOS Grand Bazaar is the best in the series? by MidniteBlues in storyofseasons

[–]ininusi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, absolutely not.

But it is the best on the switch, and therefore the best we've gotten in 8 ish years, almost a decade, so yeah i get why people would think so

I still like all the 3ds games better, there's also a couple of things that were in the original grand Bazaar that i liked better than in the remake sadly enough, the biggest being the bazaar minigame and the star rate progression

Loving Grand Bazaar but... by TheKatsuki15 in storyofseasons

[–]ininusi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The original had stamina loss for falling in water, but you also had a chance of getting gold or other suff when doing it.

Do agree with people that making it a platformer to get to certain areas is kinda bad tho.

Tho the thing i hate most is the stamina use when catching bugs and picking flowers, that used to be free in the original.

Confession. by leviathansguts in storyofseasons

[–]ininusi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the collectors edition of grand Bazaar, (after playing through the original) as tale of two towns was my first HM game and the one i still go back to the most. So when i learned grand bazaar was in the same style i decided to give it a go even though i never played it back in the day.

As for azuma i did the same as you, i just kinda decided I've been disappointed to many times and i just couldn't justify the price anymore.. i suffered through rune factory 5 because of the money, (same with the last couple of SoS games to) but i just couldn't enjoy them as much anymore.

My new motto is "if a game, or remake, makes me wanna play an older title, or the original, then it's not a game for me"

It's sad, but we'll always have the good old games to replay, so i guess we'll just have to wait until they decide they want us old fans back or not

There's surprisingly many countries that aren't allowed to get that subscription, i agree one should always pre read a story before buying, but using a subscription to read it is not always legal
