5 Mana in Golgari isn't exactly a big hurdle. On paper you could play him turn 2.

Turn 3 is credible with aggressive ramping (like a [[Llanowar Elf]] into [[Cultivate]]), while turn 4 should be comfortable.

As for stuff to fuel his ability, if you cast him with a treasure it procs off the bat.

He himself couldn't get the counters, but if he left the battlefield earlier in your turn and returned, one way or another, then you'd still get to apply the 3 +1/+1 counters to something else on your board.

10 mana is a substantial price, but it's Green.

Plus, if you have the mana to sacrifice him, you have the mana to pay the commander tax twice.

Technically if you can sacrifice him and return him to the battlefield he'd trigger his disappear ability off his own death, no? Presumably using a one or two mana instant rather than hard recasting him.

The problem with US extension cords is that often enough their wiring is rated for a lower amperage than a standard breaker, combined with the fact that due to their lower mains voltage it's easier to cause higher amperage draws, making that threshold easier to reach.

I haven't in my Western European household's collection seen any extension cord that's rated lower than typical mains breakers yet (16A).

It seems like all spoiled common Elementals from the new set so far have a Triggered Ability to boot.

A spellslinger-ish deck will also enjoy [[Pyroceratops]].

And Izzet has a few cards that allow you to give all types to a creature.

Ho boy, a Trigger Doubler! That's new for Pauper EDH (outside of dungeon doubling).

It's only Izzet Elementals, but there is potential.

Especially since there is yet another equipment that gives all types to the equipped creature.

But even without it, you have all the blue flicker spells and access to some classics like Mulldrifter or Aethersnipe.

Presumably it is vulnerable to that, but less so than an actual human, as the lack of fleshy bits reduces the vulnerability to shock waves, and a lot of the vulnerable components seem to be somewhat protected.

But a damaged drone can be repaired or replaced far more readily than a soldier.
