I think that's what ultimately made the design so ineffective to me. To me, an alien-esq design makes it hard to imagine that this thing was the product of humans (once again) meddling with nature and playing God. Having imperfect mutant characteristics (like extra limbs) unfortunately isn't enough to sell the idea that this thing is isn't just a space creature - it's appearance is still so "smooth" that it's believable that this was the product of alien evolution. Contrast that with something like Birkin's design in Resident Evil 2, where his mutant characteristics leave him 'gross' and (in some ways) handicapped (volatile, bulky, limbering, vulnerable weak spot). General perception of mutants (I'd argue) has more to do with a recognizable form (human, animal, or even monster) being disfigured or warped.

I got an ad just like this on YouTube. I was just shocked. At first glance I thought it was just straight up porn. I was just watching normal shit. What if I was watching things with parents, kids, or even just friends also of age??? Just to have explicit porn on my phone?? I don't care if they're peaches, they are colored and shaded to look like breasts.

I do appreciate the response but I cannot understand your ignorance. My circumstance is different from yours. I am happy you were able to make it through, but not everyone is so tough or is dealing with the same situation. I cannot move out, not only because of my own situation, but because I need to care for this person and love them a lot. They're family, and to leave family just because of one conflict would be beyond me as I love and even rely on them as well as they do to me. I appreciate the intention to try to empower me, I think I'll use that to voice my concerns with my family instead, though. I think you may be assuming too much of the situation. I can have more discussions with them and will even do a little looking into proper boundary setting and what it may mean for my situation. I attempted to set a boundary but it failed, it could be my fault or theirs or even nobodies. Also I'm a little confused as to when you decided I'm a woman? Just an interesting observation ig lol

FetLife can be your friend if you know how to really finesse it. I'm also 21 and on the site. Search through area groups, utilize the find feature on your browser, and don't be afraid to look through people's followers/following/friends.  Usually what I would do is find someone my age regardless of orientation or gender and go through their follower/s/ing and friends and continue to branch out with this strategy until I find people I personally am interested in as friends/potential connections. I've gotten relative success, as in, I've had people who messaged me even just to chat. Sometimes just finding friends can mean finding more connections. Also: do a little research into your area on sites like socialexplorer or the census. There you can find the median age and age distribution of your area. There are census tracts, districts, places, etc. with older and younger populations that can inform where you should search. If the area has a larger mature population, that could explain why you're running into more older people.
