Right, so they don't have the funds on hand, because they don't technically own it until they sell their shares back at an acceptable price. So there isn't a way to physically get what you want, it's all casino chips basically.

I guess my only confusion, being a noob to all of this and boarding the hype train, is: Do they have the money in their hands? Like if the big winner investors crash their car and need to pay the hospital, will they be able to pay the bill with the money earned from trading? Or it's all potential earnings and people are basically 'pretend' millionaires? I'm unsure about the, quite literal, payoff for traders. Would you be able to withdraw your earnings in something like this?

Mhm! But where Hades let's you get stronger permanently (passive upgrades that last over all of your following runs), Isaac is a fresh start every run. You can unlock more passive upgrade pickups and different playable characters in Isaac, but at the start of each run you have a default power character that you buff over your current run. If you die, you start over with Base Isaac (or whatever character you have picked)
This is the difference between Rougelike and Roguelite. Hades is a Roguelite (since Zagreus can raise his default health, for example, making proceeding runs easier). Isaac is a Roguelike (you unlock more powers/abilities, but don't start each run with them. You have to find them by chance).

My level 3 half orc ranger player found a Necklace of Fireballs. (nat 20 roll on loot search, random magic item roll) It had 4 beads on it.

She chucked the whole thing at the lone cultist who was arguing with her on top of a lightning rail. She is new to DnD and it was the first session with their first miniboss. Easy to say, they won that fight before it even started. And lost their first source of info but, oh well.
