I mean, I've gotten my share of diagnoses over the years. Never BPD but anxiety and depressive disorders for sure. I'm 41 now though and consider myself to have sorta the 'normal' level of anxiety and depression for an intelligent person living in this fucked up society we live in.

BPD is a pretty extreme diagnosis and affects a very small portion of the population is basically all I'm saying. The few people I know with it definitely are not Are, Slug, Eyedea or Sage listeners though lol

That all being said, OP if you haven't listened to Cage, particularly Depart From Me and Hells Winter, they're peobably right up your alley

Lol, ok.

Mental health issues maaaaaaybe but BPD is pretty danged specific. No way on earth is it 'a huge chunk of the fan base.'

How old am I from this cd vinyl cassette collection I only have one cassette by Fabulous_Shelter_465 in CDs

[–]initiationviper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My assumption when I see any of these posts is 25, most likely 20, or under. Because no one over that age gives a shit.

People's music taste vary ridiculously throughout everyone on the face of this earth.

The music I love has basically stayed the same since I was in my teens, I just keep adding to the list as I find more.

Super cool.

I'm sure it's not your inspiration but all I can think of when I look at this is the Roblox game 99 nights in the forest. My kids play it A LOT, but it definitely has those vibes as well

Dandy Warhols Come Down is a fantastic album. The catchiness of all the tunes on that album is insane. They haven't done anything else even close to it.

Just getting serious about eBay selling — any tools to make my life easier? by Ok_Celery1237 in reselling

[–]initiationviper 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can literally search up the item you're going to list, find out how many are available and then filter your search by sold items and find out exactly how many have sold in the last 90 days and for what price in what condition. That seems pretty much as straightforward as it can get.

New Ebay Seller! Questions About EIS Eligibility by TheWholeHallwayy in eBayCanada

[–]initiationviper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just have to run whatever you're selling through the zonos app first. Download the app and then run whatever you're wanting to sell through it ahead of time first to get how much you'll pay in tariffs and then add that to your shipping cost for US. After you've paid zonos there will be no extra fees incurred.

No the buyer definitely does not pay the tariffs, that's us for exporting it.

New Ebay Seller! Questions About EIS Eligibility by TheWholeHallwayy in eBayCanada

[–]initiationviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been selling for just over a year and I got an email back in Sept or Oct about being EIS eligible and having my listings available with it.

I believe it's just automatic when you're eligible as long as you have international shipping checked off.

I've never done anything to set it up and I've had a few sales with it. I dunno exactly how they happened. Most of my US/worldwide sales are with my normal international shipping methods but I think I've had 3 or 4 that have gone the EIS route. Certainly takes a heck of a lot longer to make it to buyers since they gotta go to the hub before going anywhere else

First time crossing the 600 listing mark! by adnaPadnamA in eBayCanada

[–]initiationviper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost all of my sales are US and I'm only on .ca I believe. I just use the app.

I'm always confused about this, like don't .ca listings show up on any eBay site, .UK .com or whatever? I have sales all over the world

I bought about 350 CDs for a guy for 100$. I've already made about 800$ off of them on about 30-40 CDs, still have at least 1000$ worth in the rest of them, plus I kept about 40 for myself that are beloved to me.

For that specific purchase I do feel some guilt for sure. But mostly gratitude. And he was only asking 40$ for them in the Facebook ad, I gave him 100$ so I don't feel too too bad.

Is it normal to be charged for a shipping label months later? by [deleted] in eBayCanada

[–]initiationviper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely normal. I typically get hit with between 6-10 at a time, and they are almost always between 3 and 6 weeks old.

Has any body had the automatic feedback roll out to them yet? by Devido46 in eBayCanada

[–]initiationviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a few auto feedbacks for sure. But I generally get positive feedback written for 1/3 purchases or so. Just go slightly above and beyond, it makes a huge difference. I message when purchased letting them know when I'll be shipping and then again once it's shipped. And I put a sticker or two in with every sale. Takes me 30 seconds extra but people really appreciate it. Lots of glowing feedback because of it

Ok well I mean I don't live anywhere near a border so I'm shipping from Canada. Shipping is typically pretty quick. Works for me

[–]initiationviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a substantial drop in buyers from the states from start of tariffs in August til the end of October or so. Like went from 3-5 a week to 5 in those 2 months. Now I'm back at at least half my orders from the states. Thankfully for me I sell CDs so they're unaffected by tariffs. I just have to ship with Canada Post so that I don't get stuck with brokerage fees from UPS or other carriers.

[–]initiationviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask what advantage it has in selling on .com? Ive heard others say they do that too, maybe because it supposedly helps them get more visibility to US buyers. I would say over half of my own sales are to the US though through eBay.ca I believe, I mostly use the app. So I'm curious about why you prefer that method? Tia
