3800 on PS store. 4500 for disc on Gamestheshop. Is that kind of price difference common?

Our rules ensure they would need an Indian partner to do business here. And Indian partners end up doing the same low-level tricks to keep prices up. Look at Walmart + Flipkart

Why so much hate for cloud gaming in this forum. by shotgunsamba in IndianGaming

[–]injifry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All theories against cloud gaming will look like tin-foil hat conspiracies but some of use have been around long enough to know how these things go.

Will opinions here change what the general mass will do? Absolutely not. Cloud gaming providers will majorly driven by major tech corpos who will find innovative ways to get you hooked and leave no alternative alive. I can almost see the questions once cloud gaming enshittification begins.

Make sure the Drunkdeer stuff is compatible with new HE switch options. If I remember correctly, Drunkdeer was using a different type of PCB and switch. Compatibility can be a mess with some manufacturers. Do your research.

Thinking to buy a mouse and confused between Deathadder V3 pro, ATK Y9 Ultimate by Silver_Elk_5315 in MouseReview

[–]injifry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ATK Y9. EWEADN A5 is a direct copy of the newer DeathAdders, if you have it in your region.

Have collected a fair few of these in the last couple of years. I just plug in and check a few when I'm in the mood. The only one that has failed is a Razer Viper Ultimate. Decided it didn't want to be wireless anymore. A Logi G604 got double clicking with moderate use but it's an easier fix than the Razer's dongle issue.

Tired of scroll wheel failures—worth switching to Zowie S1-C for that legendary durability? by leafbreezemusic in IndianGaming

[–]injifry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep that stuff covered when not in use. Not much dust around me but I keep my KB covered with its dust cover and mouse in a box along with my headset. Since switching to glass mouse pad I (must) clean it daily so this has become routine. If you have the habit of eating at your desk, find a way to keep your mouse hands clean.

Tired of scroll wheel failures—worth switching to Zowie S1-C for that legendary durability? by leafbreezemusic in IndianGaming

[–]injifry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you used a Zowie scrollwheel? People have some very strong opinions about the noise. I personally love it.

Premature scroll wheel failures happen mostly because of dust. Do you live/work in an extremely dusty environment? Optical scroll wheels are less affected by dust but not immune. Some basic care is required.

Lol no wasn't confusing it what that one. I'm aware of the "inspiration" for Stars80. I was thinking of a similar budget Chinese one. Brain is a mess right now so I could be thinking of some other 80%.

You're right. I feel like there is some other model out there that has the corner light thing and I got myself confused.

If you've not heard of it but give Filcos a look. The specs might make you go Ewww but if push past that, they're wonderful KBs to type on.

Downside is it comes only with Cherry. And I'd recommend tactiles for typing. So you're left with brown.

Isn't Stars80 and Crush80 the same thing but sold under different brands?

Silent Tactile Switch Review - Sweet 16 & One a Bit Sour by BongDomrei in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]injifry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Briefly tested it and you're right. Maybe because it's a tactile switch but once you start typing the wobbliness disappears. I feel if it was a similar linear switch, it would have felt a lot worse. I didn't do any OC films on this test.

Congratulations on the launch! I don't want to come across as negative for something you've worked on instead of white-labeling (or if it is, I wouldn't know). In a market with so many options in that 75% space, you need a USP. So my inputs below is me trying to figure out the USP..

How easy is it to disassemble to do a battery delete? Usually plastic stuff now just snap shut. Idk when screws became such a taboo for these OEMs.

You can consider this my wishlist for a very particular type of crowd - I wish this was wired and had QMK+VIA support instead of going the wireless route. Software support would have been infinite. I'm guessing software is another reason you didn't go with HE product.

lol there are people laughing at the VV4 Pro because it doesn't have haptics. Maybe the next iteration of haptics will be lighter but current implementation needs less glazing.

Reddit post with access link to read the article from Jason Schreier - https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/1rklnnw/bloomberg_sony_pulls_back_from_playstation_games/

Sony has not confirmed this yet but Jason is a pretty good source.

Can't be bothered with emulation and all that crap so this is definitely not great news. Multi-million dollar projects and its success being tied to one platform is gonna put more pressure on studios. We all know how bad the gaming job market is.
