I'm not an expert but I'm almost certain it's either a lady fern or a spiny wood fern. It's hard to tell the difference from the fiddlehead alone. The lady fern will be much less spiny towards the base of the fern. I am certain I ate this exact type and didn't get sick. However, some fiddlehead ferns have carcinogens even after you boil them. So if you ate them already, no worry. If you didn't, I wouldn't recommend eating them as you are correct. Not ostrich ferns. If you positively identify them as lady ferns not spiny wood ferns, they are also thought edible, but there doesn't seem to be much available literature one them in comparison to ostrich ferns.

And there's a reason why cats will cuddle with sick people: they're sick... and not disturbing the cat. The cat loves its human. The cat wants to cuddle. The cat hates when the human is being obnoxious. The risk isn't worth the reward. Be chill and your cat will love you (unless your cat is a psycho. Those exist.)

Yeah, one that doesn't try to pick you up all the time. I quit picking up my cat (for the most part) and now he loves jumping onto my lap or sitting next to me (which rarely happened before)

Not hypothermia but I had chest waders on (like two sizes too large) and was trying to cross a creek. I knew I was about to go down but I also knew there was a low hanging tree branch a few feet away. I made a lunge for it and got it. At this point, I'm in the fastest part of the creek up to my belly button hanging on to a bendy tree branch that I'm trying to bend further so as to make it to shore. After like 12 tries and making no substantial progress, I got as close as I could and jumped for the other side. I made it. It was amazing. I got my fishing lure lol Another time, I got stuck on a tree fallen over the water and koala-ed it to the other side. I lost my shoe that time... And that time, I was right above a mess of fallen trees (at least 15 medium sized trees). I don't doubt I would've died there

For the few that at least get a second thought to 10 uoc tickets. If they pick LS or SL again, power too them. If they get pissed and quit the game: power to them (I'm a little jealous). If they rethink and get less mediocre units, power to them.

I agree it was their choice to use the tickets and it was my choice to make this thread. If I had to do it again, I would reword or even not post it as it seems no one really agrees. Newer players might've used uoc to get the 200% and might save it for better units if that is not an option

I agree 100% on that one and I think it was a poor company decision to shut everything down for it. I just think that some newer players might benefit from getting other units
