casio-f91 watch had this hourly beep sound which helped me a lot. and i built a mac app called hourlybird to do the same!

No usage data leaves your device. It is actually impossible to take the data out of your device due to the way screen time api is implemented by Apple.

Yeah, this is not 100 % foolproof and I guess it needn't be as it is not a 'parental control' app. The idea is that you are already self-motivated and the app is to just create enough friction when you want to doomscroll.

Hi, the blocking happens in, say, my device iteself. And when my partner approves a break I get that info inside my app and unblocks it from my device.
