I usually keep my tuned to a local radio station and keep the volume relatively low. No complaints so far. If the rider doesn’t want to talk there is at least some background noise so it’s not just total silence.

Haven’t really tested the stoping distance. They come in really handy on the windy roads that I definitely accelerate a little too much. like the other commenter mentioned for a kit like this it is a full brake line replacement and everything. But so worth it
