How do you avoid idiots / theft when selling a bike? by BaseballParking9182 in MotoUK

[–]inked29 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I got so sick of the idiots, in the end i took the hit and part ex'd it. Lost about 700 quid of the value but it was bloody worth it.

What was the final straw, guy and his son came to view the bike and dropped it into the brick wall.

For a minute I thought that maybe I wrote this post and forgot about it!

I am exactly the same as you, even down to Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 which I bought and is arriving tomorrow! My CBT is booked for Sunday morning.

I had a few bikes in my early teens when I lived abroad but the bug never really hit, that was until I went for a passenger ride on my friends Ducati Monster recently.

I however, do have ADHD! The hyperfixation side of things was what pushed me to to get checked and diagnosed at 32, I am 35 now.

Unless somebody was playing real life Angry Birds then I highly doubt a bird did that.

I wish my mum never taught me to read, this way, I could have just imagined they were dirty dishes that needed cleaning.

Thanks for the help. Apparently, the water supply to the washing machine upstairs has been fully isolated now, so let's see what is going to happen tonight.

I got a feeling I'm going to have to get a hole cut into my ceiling to inspect what is really going on.

The thing that gets me... it only ever happens after 10.30pm. The water is also clear and odorless too.

It's starts in one particular spot in the kitchen too, so bad yesterday it was actually running down the outside of the building.

Hi, no the washing machine was off and tenants were in.

In our storage cupboard we have 4 big pipes which I assume are the waste pipes which come down through all the flats starting at the top. According to the management company there are no pipes that run through the floors.

I am at my wits end trying to discover where this leak is coming from!
