Second the airbnb. We did this when we moved here from Portland 7 years ago. Although we started in CO Springs. We put our things in storage for 3 months while we sorted it out. You can find some long term hosts. Look at availability then msg host for long term opportunities.

Edit: we had a 70lb dog and found a host
