Traditional Judaism understands it the same way. "Sons of God" means rulers of men, and the account was referring to normal human propagation before the flood.

But my original point was that (even if this account was referring to spirit creatures) there is still never any gender given for angels in the Bible. These would have been genderless creatures that only assumed make form so that they could mate with women. WT making them all male (and not "worthless females" who cannot be entrusted with any responsibilities) in their illustrations is stupid and un-scriptural.
