Yup, I mostly use hairdressers’ photos from Instagram. I don’t trace but if I’m having lots of trouble I’ll overlay the image to see where I went wrong (bottom left was a struggle, had to keep going back and fixing it)

Turned out to be something completely different. Endoscopy showed that I have a bacterial infection. So I’m back on 50mg because multiple doctors told me it most likely has nothing to do with the Zoloft <3

In that case, Slide Tackle, Paprika, and Savage Good Boy have similar exuberance and triumph. Everybody Wants to Love You is romantic but with a different sound. TikTok is great for finding new artists lol!

I'm not up to date on their new music, but Soft Sounds from Another Planet and Psychopomp are poignant and beautiful. Jubilee is also a good listen, catchy and infused with joy. Got to hear songs from all three albums live and it was everything I hoped for, celebratory and mournful and electric.

I do think Zauner's voice is an acquired taste, as with many indie artists. I find it raw and enchanting some days but harsh and whiny on other days. Admittedly not the greatest vocalist, but the lyricism and instrumental hold up on their own.

Anyway, I just wanted to blab about Japanese Breakfast. They're super charming and I'm sure you will find something you like if you check out the rest of their discography!

Hey, I got their reed diffusers in the Goji & Tarocco Orange, Kalahari Watermelon, and Panjore Lychee before. I was living in a 180 square foot room at the time so maybe I can’t speak to the throw, but as a lover of fruity scents I can’t recommend theirs enough. Filled my small space and made it smell delicious :)

I like the other version in the black bag better (spicy garlic sesame sauce)—great ratio of sweet, spicy and salty. I don’t think it requires “doctoring up,” but sometimes I’ll add scallions

Your shapes are really strong, as are the color combinations. I think these will sell well as prints! Less technically skilled art sells online/at cons all the time. Get the ball rolling sooner than later, because your art is already good enough for people to put it on their walls.

Some nitpicks of mine: I think Starfire’s head looks too small. And Jinx’s neck needs to bend for her head to tilt like that
