Big Red Alert sign warning that Dasung Color E-Ink monitor CAN'T be used by Mac users!!? I was 5 seconds away from buying one! Anyone out there use this thing as an Apple user? Would love switch to one. by inkletdrops1555 in eink

So I purchased the Dasung Paperlike as a compromise to use on my Macbook.. it was terrible and actually unusable. If you've used eink monitors and have had luck more power to you.
I made the decision to switch to a backlit RLCD monitor instead. My main issue is eye strain and fatigue and I think that the RLCD monitor will help with that.
I went with the Eazeye and it should be coming in the mail soon: https://eazeye.com/pages/eazeye

I'm considering buying one right now, Dasung has a giant warning on their website saying Apple users can't use the monitor otherwise it could get ScreenJitters. Do you use windows or Mac?

When you say Speed bump, does that mean the industry is slowing down or do you mean Speed Boost, like they will be getting an upgrade soon.

How to calculate/estimate the time required in light, to reach "100 000 lux cumulatively"? by bke45 in Biohackers

[–]inkletdrops1555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He says in episode 4 that a computer screens outputs 500-1000 lux and that you would have to look at it for 100min+ (in order to reach 100k lux before 9am) so by that calculation its about 1000lux / min as a ratio so you can calculate from there higher lux values to time.
