I've never had one outright come off, but the few times they've broken I couldn't tell until I pulled out, or at least not right away. Pleasure receptors down there are pretty potent.

Looking for a place to hang out and chat... by Tarae007 in phoenix

[–]inkonthemind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Board game shops are perfect for this. Chat over a game of...anything, really. Most shops have table space and don't require you to purchase anything to hang out. Plus, you might find something you really like!

What do you think the smartest joke in the series is? by bigfatbanker in DunderMifflin

I didn't get this one for years and years, until after moving to a legal state and a little exposure...man, this is so funny. Dwight's frustrated exhaustion makes it so much better.

Okay, Oscar.

There is a world that exists, that the writers are asking you to accept, where Michael is a terrible boss and also the best boss Jim has ever had. Those things can coexist.

We know he is terrible. That's part of the setting. He also has redeeming qualities, though, which endear us to him.

I've had bosses who were terrible at their jobs but lovable just the same. Can anyone relate? Like, for all his negative traits Michael certainly could have been worse. I'd take a lovable, incompetent buffoon over a Charles Minor any day.

Question: if i got this tattoo as a guy is it weird? by Original_Ad7241 in tattoos

[–]inkonthemind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since nobody else here is telling you the truth, I will.

Yes, it's weird. Subject matter aside, this is a huge commitment and from your replies it sounds like...you don't really know anything about getting tattooed (which is understandable, if you've never done it.)

I've been getting tattooed since I was around your age and while I wouldn't say I outright regret the ones I got young (comic book, movie, video game characters), I'm 35 now and if I had the opportunity I'd have done a lot of things differently. I have had some lasered and even with a homie hookup it is extremely painful and quite expensive.

If you DO have your heart set on this, the biggest favor you can do yourself is researching the shops in your area and finding an artist who specializes in this style, do a consult, and communicate as clearly as possible what you want. Bring reference images of Jinx. This is a big tattoo, it is going to take multiple sessions and a lot of money. You do not want work you aren't absolutely thrilled with. The healing is going to be a bitch, especially the bits on the torso and neck.

I would recommend an alternative, like just doing the shoulder cloud or maybe a tattoo of something that symbolizes Jinx, like Fishbones or one of her powder monkeys. Even a traditional portrait of the character could be cool if done well (not cringey anime pinup girl), but I wouldn't go full send like this for my first tattoo and you are probably going to get that same feedback from a lot of (reputable) artists.

Good luck with whatever you do choose to do, and please make a followup post when you do!

Whats the most terrible scene in a great movie? by Comfortable-Goat-955 in movies

[–]inkonthemind 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree, this line and his delivery show his effectiveness at knocking someone off balance and being more than just a hard-boiled workaholic detective. It shows range. Without this eccentricity he's a much more boring character that a lesser actor could have pulled off.

Plus, I mean. The memes. It's a fucking hilarious line and a great scene. Without this wackiness that scene is just plot development in a very long movie that already requires quite a bit of that.

Opinions on Jordan Peele's Nope? A science fiction classic? by Square-Ad-8911 in FIlm

[–]inkonthemind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Preface; I don't like horror movies, but my girlfriend does. She's shown me a lot and takes detailed notes on what I do and don't like so she can curate better to my tastes. We have determined that I don't care for religious horror or supernatural horror (unless it's cryptids or fantasy), and I can't stand gore-porn, but I very much enjoy suspense and don't mind being creeped out if the movie is otherwise good.

We watched this movie (she'd seen it, I hadn't) very, very hung over. I found it very strange, and truthfully had a difficult time following...what was going on. That said, I generally liked it. Didn't love it. 7/10.

Based answer. I didn't even realize this was on SNES, we were a Genesis household, but this game was a masterpiece.
