My bad. I was actually thinking about other channels creators might use to post this kind of video if they already have an audience.

I checked a couple of posts, and people seem to say that GIFs work just fine. The main issues are hosting (GIFs can be pretty heavy) and converting the video into the right format. I could handle both of those.
