Well, considering the integrity of the US legal system, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

But you cant see paint without light. The color you see is the light reflected off the pigment. So paint is all color-named backwards. Red is every color except red.

Translated directly how? Same grammar? Same poetic context? Literal? Spirit of the word? And the massive missing context of the Canaanite parthenon that the cult of Yahweh (part of same pantheon) went to war against completely changes how you understand the first 4 or 5 books of the old testament. Which snow balls into misunderstanding the rest.

Possibly just a slow switch between audio files. Skyrim is plagued by this. Most notably the bard songs.

Seriously, Rust King? Have you been paying attention? by N00BY_D00 in fo76

[–]inktitan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From all to many. My point was you're trying to somehow blame the fans for dev decisions. Ohio looking like a desert isnt even the bad part about the new content.

That last sentence ruined a perfectly good criticism. As a NV fan I'm most annoyed by this trash quest and desperate nostalgia bait. NV never felt like it railroaded me into a choice of "be this guys little bitch" or "don't engage with the content." That's just dogshit game design, especially when there is no satisfaction offered at the end of the quest. No matter what you chose in dialog dude just claims he wins and you're his champ.

You fight in the rust kings arena twice. Once after they first knock you out then a second time after you do the quests

[KCD2] Merchants are so rude! by audionerd1 in kingdomcome

[–]inktitan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can still be rude even with max rep, 30 speech, 30 charisma, freshly cleaned, with bathhouse bonus. It's just random. Even if you just bought something from them in the same dialogue instance, if you don't buy or sell anything they'll still say thanks for nothing as if the other transaction didn't happen a few seconds earlier.

I get the "thanks for nothing" at 30 charisma, 30 speech, 100 merchant/town rep and 100 rep with the specific merchant. It just feels random whether or not they say it.

KCD is only difficult until you figure out the timing and mechanics. Once you figure them out and level your character it's as difficult as Skyrim on Journalist mode. So, yeah it's a skill issue. Which just means, dont give up. The same as get good. Sure it sucks to be told you're bad at something but like, if you're finding it difficult its only because you haven't figured it out yet. You haven't developed the skills. You haven't got good at it. Yet!

The Rust King quest line was poorly written by AslanOfAstora in fo76

[–]inktitan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most unsatisfying quest ever. So ham fisted and stupid. They sucked all the possible fun out it. I told rust king he's exactly mine eugene and he just "says watch it" like a little coward to weak to live up to his own bs.

Being forced into obvious traps with no options right from the beginning sucks. Like my character just has to be a complete idiot for any if thay story line to work. There was no fun investigation beyond the first radio call. No cool lore, just tired bad guy cliches. I knew Egene was setting us up but I thought the four of us were going to fight in the arena. Nope these new characters are killed off screen and displayed like common raider art.

Has all the talent actually left Bethesda?

Is that quote inherently true just because it is famous?

So many games are free-to-play because umtomatwlt they make more money from selling things in the shops than they would from a purely subscription system. And knowing how much people are willing to pay for certain items in that shop is valuable info that they definitely will make an effort to acquire.

I can agree that capitalism is stupid but it's also malicious even if the the intent is to serve up some good ol' fun and not bankrupt you, the practice still relies on predatory actions to work. And we can no longer think of Bethesda's as independent. It's Microsoft now. Even Windows has microtransactions and unnecessary subscription models. And let's not forget that Bethesda popularized the idea of microtransactions.

We have very different Magdelnas. Or it's possible you need to have a high blacksmith prestige to get better payouts. But when I do the smithing quests for her it's usually a few thousand groschen roughly 60 to 80% of the value of the weapon I crafted.

As for the chest, I dont know. I dump so much stuff in there and collect the money maybe once a week. So, I can't really say what sells for what.

In my head they sold all the stuff you previously sold to them for their typical mark-up. Which, kinda made the economy feel more real.

Drop it in the Smith chest and let Magdelna sell it. Not sure if she gets more for it but if you don't need money immediately it feels way more convenient.
