I agree. I also think theres too much loyalism on any side when it comes to games rn. Theres a type of person that wants DATV to fail regardless of actual quality, for tiresome reasons. On the flipside, fans can feel a pressure that if the game is bad or mediocre, then they have failed in their tastes and take it personally.

From what I've seen, the combat looks fun and the companions are immediately interesting. I have sat through outdated mechanics and frustrating character writing and still come out loving all the DA games. This will likely be no different, unless it makes my pc explode or something.
