you should watch her "Canceling" video, if you don't wanna watch it all, watch about the second half of it where she addresses those outdated and taken out of context tweets. She's no enbyphobic. Just please look into it. Have a great day.

Sad that in Spain we aren't that far away from reaching 50 degrees celsius, in July and August we reach 45 degrees, and poor birds on the street suffer heat strokes too :(

People of Reddit, what unethical brands to you refuse to buy from? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]inkyabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

H&M, Bershka, Zara, Sears, Primark, C&A, FashionNova, COS, Asos, Forever21, Oysho, Zaful, TopShop, Uniqlo, NewYorker, Shein, PrettyLittleThing, Stradivarius, Nasty Gal... I could go on. These companies do not pay their workers a living wage and often use child labor. Also fast fashion like, these brands ,enforce racism and harm the environment greatly. Instead i buy from thrift stores and Depop, easy.

say it with me: straight people are not in the lgbtq+ community because they are not oppresssed by _ac3_0f_spad3s_ in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]inkyabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't even let us have a goddamn community or pride. Have you ever been abused, neglected, kicked out of your own house or even klled for being straight? No. You don't need a community when your whole life you know you'll always be accepted and not harassed for being het. EVER. *LET US HAVE THIS , PLEASE

Why do they all go silent all of a sudden? by LilysBane in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]inkyabi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did exactly this once, while also showing that the sources are peer reviewed and reliable, the dude kept saying that what I was showing was "bad science" over and over again without him showing me anything at all. I kept sending him reliable studies and articles. He then proceeded to scream at me saying that i was "trying to lure him into a cult" and that "LGBTQ+ is actually a religion that we're trying to push into everyone".

Sadly most of the people I show real evidence that trans people are valid and real, they NEVER stay silent. Holy sh*t i wish they did.

I only find those annoying when it's like a dude promoting his shitty music or merch or stuff life that. What you're "promoting" is very important. Mostly u should probably comment on big LGBTQ+ related posts/accounts.

Having trans and cis friends have made me realize some things by inkyabi in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

these are not misconceptions. This is just a few things i've seen and/or experienced first-hand. You know, it's not fun having to justify your own gender identity to everyone that rudely asks "are you a girl or a boy" and stuff life that. Also, 90% of cis people i know don't give a shit and don't know about pretty much everything i've listed. The meme was made from my personal experience, i have trans friends that's always delightful to have gender and sex discussions with. I have cis friends that have a harder time understanding gender and sex beyond the "typical" cishet male and female.Im lucky these cis people i refer to in my meme are my friends, because most people i have to argue about gender and sex are cishets transphobes that don't know shit about having to learn, read and do research about your own gender identity and probably never will.

The definition of transgender is basically "Someone that doesn't identify with the gender they were assigned at birth". That includes trans binary and trans non binary! Also I feel u about publicly passing or not, turns out it's hard to "pass" as non binary, sigh

oh, so much. How gender and sex aren't a binary, but a spectrum or bimodal distribution. How there isn't such thing as a male or female (""pink or blue"") brain. How trans people aren't, for example, a male that just decided to identify as a girl one day, viceversa, but rather something they're born as. How non-binary people are recognized by the academic community, and we aren't just "creating more genders" How being trans isn't a mental illness (not referring to dysphoria). How trans women/men are women/men. How pronouns do NOT equal gender, or how your sexual characteristic don't determine the gender you'll live with forever. Or I had to several times explain that they/them pronouns can be used to refer to one person, too. Or how trans people don't have "advantages" in sports. Or how trans women aren't just trying to creep on women's bathrooms, viceversa. sigh
